On CNN Political Tracker Nov 16
Graham hit again on Cap N Trade

"Energy is the lifeblood of our economy, from home to work to play," a narrator says in the ad, as viewers are shown images of basic everyday tasks that require electricity, oil and gas. "Energy fuels us.

"So why would Senator Lindsey Graham support a new national energy tax called cap and trade, which could sign increase electricity bills, gas prices, and cost American jobs? Call Senator Lindsey Graham. Tell him you're turned off by his support for cap and trade."

Here's an update: Nov 4, 2009

Read it all at Yahoo News

WASHINGTON – A trio of senators with differing political views is working behind-the-scenes to rescue troubled climate legislation.

Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., together with Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., said Wednesday they would work in conjunction with the White House to patch together a bill that could pass the U.S. Senate.

The three senators met individually with Energy Secretary Steven Chu, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and Carol Browner, the president's assistant for energy and climate change.

"Our effort is to try to reach out to broaden the base of support ... ," Kerry said at an afternoon news conference. "The key here is to really negotiate once, in a sense."

And this "Senator" ran as a conservative ... Dr. Senator Graham ... You Lied!

Here was my email to Sen. Graham:

Dear Sen. Graham ...

How could you have called yourself a Conservative during your campaign (especially against a real Conservative, Buddy Witherspoon) and now "reach across the isle" to team up with John Kerry on Cap and Trade? Why are you doing this? There IS NO GLOBAL WARMING CAUSED BY MAN ... CO2 is NOT CAUSING A PROBLEM! (Prove it!)

So what you are doing is imposing ANOTHER tax on us, for no valid reason except to expand the federal government. I thought you were against more taxes.

When was the last time Kerry "reached across the isle" and moved toward a Conservative position?

You and McCain have just about totally ruined the Republican Party. I'm no longer a $$$ Contributing member, my money is going to the Conservative PAC. You are the main reason for that, you represent exactly why the Republicans lost the last election and why, if you continue these actions, they will lose the next one(s) too.

When will you be announcing that you are going the route of Sen Spector and just changing parties? I'm sure you would be far more comfortable as a Democrat, and I think Conservative Republicans would also be more comfortable with you as a Democrat.
