Tyranny Overcomes Liberty
Today I am flying the Son’s of Liberty 9 Bar Vertical Flag. Tyranny overcame Liberty tonight as the Senate voted to bring the Health Care bill forward. 60 Democrats voted for this measure … NO REPUBLICANS. The Democrats have now fully exposed themselves. Why would you want to “reform” the finest health care system in the world? This was a vote for the advancement of Socialism, and the “socialists” who voted for it are clearly listed in the roll call below, fully exposed for all to see … and united as a party:
A “YEA” is a vote for SOCIALISM, a “NAY” is a vote for Liberty and Freedom.
Bottom Line
Politics or Liberty? From the list above, it is clear that “individuals” are only a part of a bigger problem. The Democrat Party has emerged clearly as the greatest threat to Liberty and Freedom today, inclined to favor “politics” to override the voice of the people. The once great Democrat Party has lost its way. Obama will not be mentioning the word “bipartisan” in the morning papers. Unless he cites Lieberman … who also demonstrated his true leanings voting YEA … now Lieberman can continue as Head of the Homeland Security Committee. (Reid= Vote with us or else!)
Quiet Celebration? For a Conservative, this would seem to be a time for somber reflection, but it may well finally be a time for quiet celebration. The American People do not want the Health Care bill to pass (see below), they want the economy fixed and they want jobs. The Health Care bill does neither, in fact it is detrimental to both the economy by adding a trillion dollars to the already out-of-control budget and will boost unemployment (already at 10.2% … the highest in 23 years!) to even higher levels. People are simply not going to put up with this. The Senate vote will only awaken more people to the fact that the Democrats do not care about jobs and deficits for our children.
Update from Rasmussen: (Nov 23)
Just 38% of voters now favor the health care plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. That’s the lowest level of support measured for the plan in nearly two dozen tracking polls conducted since June. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 56% now oppose the plan.
Blatant Corruption It also is clear for any observer to see the “political” motives of the Democrat Party. ($100,000 for Mary Landrieu’s vote!) (Leiberman’s Homeland Security Post for his vote). They are using the money and power WE give them to bribe each other for votes. Why would ANYone want to be associated with this kind of corruption, clearly for the presumption of power risking Liberty and Freedom for all? Its time for real Democrats to move away from these people. (… or is this what Democrats are?). Is it the just the radical left threatening Liberty or are ALL Democrats part of the problem as the roll call vote suggests? I am guessing that tomorrow morning, more “Independents” will appear … distancing themselves from something once great that has turned evil and dangerous.
A Win or a Bad Day for Democrats? The elections are coming, we’ve just been given a boost toward eliminating the Socialist threat … by the Socialists! The people will awaken and they will act as Americans always do when their Liberties and Freedoms are threatened. So, tactically, Liberty and Freedom were overcome on this day, but strategically, this further turns the tide and we should celebrate the liberal and Democrat Party self-destruction. It is breathtaking to watch. The Democrats have fully exposed themselves … now people can clearly see what they are and what their party represents.

Why would ANYone want to be associated with this kind of corruption, clearly for the presumption of power risking Liberty and Freedom for all? Its time for Democrats to move away from these people … or is this what Democrats are? Is it the just the radical left threatening Liberty or are ALL Democrats part of the problem as the roll call vote suggests?
