The Patriot's Flag

Today, I am flying the Union Jack, a flag I fly when Liberty is Threatened. We need to look closer at current events and its relationship to this strategy. (This is a heads up!)

American Thinker: Using borrowed money for a band-aid bailout of the economy should seem backwards to most people. However, it likely is a planned strategy to promote radical change. Those naively believing that President Obama is simply rewarding his far-left base, and will then move to the political center, must wise up. (Read it all here).

The Cloward-Piven Strategy: First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse. The Strategy was first elucidated in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation magazine by a pair of radical socialist Columbia University professors, Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. David Horowitz summarizes it as:

The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Manufacturing the Crisis:  Make people dependent upon something, then take it away … causing the crisis.

• The programs usually create adverse incentives. This is especially true in so-called “anti-poverty” programs. The beneficiaries find government subsidies a replacement for, rather than a supplement to, gainful employment and eventually become incapable of supporting themselves. This in turn creates a dependent culture with its attendant toxic behaviors which demand still more government “remedies.”

The programs create their own industry, complete with scads of “think tanks” and “experts” who survive on government research grants. These are the aptly named “Beltway Bandits.”

They create their own bureaucracies, whose managers conspire with interested members of Congress to continually increase program funding, regardless of merit.

Members of Congress secure votes and campaign donations by extorting them from beneficiaries of such programs, either through veiled threats — “vote for me or those mean Republicans will wipe out your benefits” — or promises of still more bennies.

We have already seen it happen! The Financial Crisis we just experienced was a good “lesson” that the Cloward-Piven strategy is uppermost in the planning of this administration.  Look into what “caused” the crisis, and you won’t find George Bush playing with the money … somebody else was (see Community ReInvestment Act)  … and the timing was perfect. Although the “crisis” was manufactured back in Carter’s time and perfected under Clinton, the “trigger” was pulled as Obama approached the Oval Office. Obama then became the “solution” to the crisis.

Later, in office, the  the were able to use the “crisis severity” of the economic “meltdown” (their word not mine) and immediately (and I mean within days/weeks) take over the banking and auto industries. But as they “benevolently” stepped in to “save” the banking and automotive industry … they gained control of them.  So much control that today the government can set the pay for a banking executive and determine that only “green” cars will be produced in the future … again to “save the planet.” It starts with a crisis … MANUFACTURED … then the pull the trigger and act to save us from the very crisis they created.  This is the methodology of the Cloward-Piven strategy. And it is being implemented as you read this blog. They would have us believe all this is an accident … but it is part of a well-planned takeover of Capitalism by Socialism.

“A Crisis is a terrible thing to waste”

Hillary Clinton: “Never waste a good crisis,” Clinton told a hearing at the European Parliament. “And when it comes to the economic crisis, don’t waste it when it can have a very positive impact on climate change and energy security.” …  “This is a propitious time … we can actually begin to demonstrate our willingness to confront this.  We are making up the best we can for lost time,” she added.

There are TWO noises you will hear as the trigger is pulled … (“click and click“)

1. THERE IS A CRISIS … There is a “Health Care Crisis” … really?  There’s a Swine Flu Crisis … really? There’s a possible gun crisis (Ft Hood) … really? If this economy continues to run into the ground, there will be a crisis … and when people take to the streets in anger … the trigger will be pulled … the government will “step in” to protect us. confiscating our guns and our protest posters to make sure we don’t hurt anyone. And we will be left “safely” in the hands of socialism and subservient to the state. But first, we need a (manufactured) crisis.

2. WE MUST HASTEN TO FIX IT … Any time you see something must be fixed “immediately” … beware! This is in an attempt to get the dumb masses to panic on emotion rather than logic.  “We must pass the health care bill immediately” …and thank God we didn’t … we read it, we dissected it, and we found it to be a disaster having little to do with health care and a great deal to do with the government trying to take over one sixth of the economy.

The [NEXT] Jobs Crisis: Look at the next crisis that is being presented to you. This is the “jobs” crisis.”  The government already took away the jobs by initializing fake stimulus packages that did not create, but destroyed jobs … rather than cutting taxes so businesses would hire more people! Now Obama is about to have a “Job’s Summit” … to solve the problem.  This government, by purposely NOT following what is historically successful for such a crises, has caused a 10.2% unemployment rate, (a manufactured a crisis, since it could have been avoided) and now they are proposing to “save us” from it

Just look at  who is stating that any “next ciris” is real, who is transmitting the signal and who has to gain. And if you are the willing victim of this purported  crisis, then the Cloward-Piven trigger is about to be pulled.

From AP: BEIJING — President Barack Obama [WHO] says creating jobs isn’t the goal of a coming White House forum on jobs and economic growth. The president told NBC News [WHO] on Wednesday that the purpose of the Dec. 3 summit is to figure out how to encourage hiring by businesses still reluctant to do so.

The U.S. unemployment rate hit 10.2 percent last month, the highest in decades. Before departing on his trip through Asia, Obama said the high jobless rate is one of the biggest challenges for an economy that has begun to show signs of recovery. Obama told NBC that the forum will give him and other administration officials a chance to talk to CEOs, small-business owners and other experts to find out what’s going on. [Geez, they don't have a clue!]

The Jobs Summit, now isn’t. This will not be a “jobs summit” as was first proposed, now it becomes a summit “to figure out how to encourage hiring by businesses still reluctant to do so.” Does this sound just slightly ominous to you? Want to watch some “Chicago politics” up close? Get a ring-side seat for this one and you’ll get your chance.  You are going to see businesses forced to hire people. And YOU will pay their salaries! (Example: Give businesses a $3000 a year one time tax break for hiring a person that would cost a business $10,000 in training to hire.)  And when business do not follow the plan (for valid “Business 101″ reasons), the government will find a way to punish them.  All this so this administration can shift the blame of unemployment from their failed policies to the businesses who refuse to comply with the [soon to be proposed] government mandates.  Watch and and you’ll see how it works.

Pull away the safety features and allow it to fail (“click”)

1st Navy Union Jack - Liberty Threatened

I’m still flying the USA “Mourning” flag … this action for the unfortunate 12 unarmed soldiers (plus one civilian and one unborn child) murdered by a Muslim Terrorist at Fort Hood.  But as that flag freely flies in the warm South Carolina breeze today, there is news from abroad and  I cannot help but wonder about all the taxation facing me with a total lack of representation of me to the rest of the world.

Our Representative to the World doesn’t represent ME! Supposedly, the President of the United States of America is our “personal” representative to the rest of the world.  Supposedly, he represents our feelings, our ideals and our patriotism. At least that the way it always WAS.  And supposedly THIS President was elected because he would bring spending under control, keeping taxes low for the “middle class” … but a year later we’re just a few trillion over budget and the gap between financial sobriety and a financial system drunkenly out of control is up to 18%.  And with no help on the horizon from the people who always make the difference, the hard working citizens of the USA …and they cannot help with a 10.2% unemployment rate. (See fantastic graphic here!)  What we have here is a hell of a lot of taxation about to happen and this coming from a man who does not even represent the basic values of this country.  He represents himself, not US.

The USA as Subservient? I never thought I would live long enough to see this great nation subservient to other nations in the world, and I always thought the person who represented us would feel the same (if not more!) patriotism in his heart than I do … after all, he’s the “President.”  But alas, none of this is true anymore.  So I am being over taxed by a man who  was given the job because he would stop the over-spending and represented by a man who struts  about the world apologizing for the greatness of the USA and bowing to kings and  emperors abroad. And here at home he cannot show the slightest respect for our values and ideals.  Look for yourself …

Why is this happening? A friend of mine today said, “Maybe it was what he was taught.“  Could it be that simple? Yes it could, look at his teaching and upbringing.  I do not believe he is “acting with thought,” but rather that he is  “programmed.” He does this (as well as (see above) cover his privates and not placing his hand over his heart during patriotic moments), totally without thinking. I believe he’s doing this “naturally” … no “scripting or planning”. It is “who” he is. It is “how” he was trained. We are witnessing the result of “bringing up baby” in an unpatriotic environment. We can see some of the same things in our own youth upbringing … “hey, what’s wrong with Socialism?” I don’t fault him for this, he is what he was trained to be, he is a “result.” I do blame the dumb masses who voted for him thus making him my representative to the world. The indicators were all there before the election … but alas, disregarded. All of this is a result of ignorance, more “ours” than “his.”  He (sort of) can’t help it … WE CAN!

It was interesting everyone said Sarah Palin “wasn’t ready” for the Vice Presidency. Yet you watch this President of the United States make unpatriotic gaffes almost daily … talk about not being prepared … (or prepared the wrong way?)  For instance, as a representative of the USA, you don’t “bow” to the representative of another country, you put out your hand in friendship, stand tall, and look them straight in the eye … at least as an equal. Respect for your country’s veterans and its flag is even less difficult:

• We are talking about a simple gesture of putting your hand over your heart (instead of using them to cover your privates!).

This is simple stuff … and he gets it wrong every time … perhaps it is what he was taught, and perhaps it is what he now believes, and it seems he is not going to change. If so, he simply does not represent ME.

And now he is about to tax me to death … while misrepresenting me to the world …

… my values

… my ideals

… my country.

So I am left with … taxation without representation.

1st Navy Union Jack - Liberty Threatened

Today I’m flying the USA flag with a long black ribbon for mourning of the 13 dead and over 30 wounded at Fort Hood Texas … killed and wounded by an Islamic Terrorist … the first such act on US soil since 9-11.

On Thursday, Nov 5th, 2009, an Muslim extremist terrorist jumped up on a table in a crowded area at the Fort Hood Army Base near Killeen, Texas, yelled out “Allahu Akbar” and proceeded to kill 13 people and wound 31.  The terrorist was Maj. Nadal Malik Hasan who planned this terrorist attack and executed it in cold blood.

This terrorist posted anti-American hate-speech on the several Jihadist websites, using various false names; praised suicide bombers (and used his own name; on some of these posts); loudly criticized US policies; argued (as a psychiatrist, no less) with his military patients over the worth of their sacrifices; refused, in the name of Islam, to be photographed with female colleagues; listed his nationality as “Palestinian” in a Muslim spouse-matching program, and paraded around central Texas in a fundamentalist garb.

Hasan walked into the Guns Galore gun store in Killeen, Texas, and legally purchased the FN Herstal tactical pistol that authorities believe was used to massacre soldiers at Fort Hood. An FBI background check under the National Instant Background Check System was done when Hasan purchased the pistol — but that information was never shared with the Joint Terrorism Task Force in Washington, which was aware that Hasan had repeatedly contacted a radical imam suspected of having ties to al Qaeda. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force ran down intelligence leads relating to Hasan late last year but closed the inquiry sometime in early 2009. (Would that have been Jan. 20th, 2009? … what a coincidence!)

And in an email from this terrorist, he stated:

I am a Muslim first and an American second.

And on business cards found in a drawer of a desk in his apartment:

• ABC News: United States Army Major Nidal Hasan proclaimed himself a “soldier of Allah” on private business cards he obtained over the Internet and kept in a box at his apartment.

With all these warnings, no action was taken against a person known to praise suicide bombers openly and openly damn US policy.  But not one officer in his chain of command came forward to take action against this man demonstrating potential terrorist tendencies. And in concert with this politically correct denial, the news media and the President of the United States refuses to use the term “terrorist” attack.

This was an act of terror.  But so typically of the news today, the mainstream (state controlled?) and Obama-sympathetic press services have refused to call this a terrorist act. This denial of fact allows President Obama to continue to say there have been no terrorist attacks on US soil “on his watch.”  We are not only seeing the re-writing of history after the fact, we are now seeing history re-written in the present as it happens … for political correctness and to protect the integrity of naive (and dangerous) presidential foreign policy.

Political Correctness (PC) and the media’s continuing “covering” for Obama’s weaknesses on national defense and terrorism are CAUSING the terrorists to become emboldened … and as predicted, as we continue to demonstrate weakness, they come closer to our homes to kill us.  This is what has now happened in Killeen, Texas. The apologies to the Middle East by Obama has now resulted in exactly what was predicted, terrorists now appearing on US Soil in response to the weakness (and naivete’ ) of the Obama foreign policy.

It happened in a Gun Free Zone. The site of the massacre, a United States Army base with men and women fully trained and trusted to use weapons in the heat of combat, was a gun free zone … so they were unarmed. How can that be?  Simple. President Clinton authored this asinine policy back in 1993 when he declared all military bases “Gun Free Zones.”  It is well known that gun free zones do nothing but assure criminals, and now terrorists, that they will find unarmed victims who are defenseless against a homicidal rampage. Once again we prove the only people “armed” in a gun free zone are criminals and terrorists and the unarmed and innocent become the victims. (Virginia Tech anyone?)  Will we never learn?

We are a weaker nation by espousing “peace and love” when our enemies are espousing “killing us.”  Drop your defenses, look the other way, declare there is no longer a war on terror … and the enemy will immediately take advantage of the weakness (notice I didn’t say “perceived weakness” … as it now is quite real!) and attack accordingly.  This prediction is no longer “theory” … it is now fact.  If you want to confirm the facts … ask the parents, relatives and families of these 13 people killed by this Muslim Terrorist:

1. Chief Warrant Officer Michael Grant Cahill, 65, of Cameron, Texas, husband and father of three, had just returned to work as a physician assistant after suffering a heart attack.
2. Maj. Libardo Eduardo Caraveo, 52, of Woodbridge, Virginia, was a native of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. He was preparing to deploy to Afghanistan, and leaves a wife, three sons and two step-daughters.
3. Staff Sgt. Justin M. DeCrow, 32, of Evans, Georgia, was helping train new soldiers on how to help new veterans with paperwork. He was a husband and father.
4. Capt. John Gaffaney, 56, of San Diego, California, was married with a son. He was a psychiatric nurse and had arrived at Fort Hood the day before the shooting to prepare for deployment to Iraq.
5. Spc. Frederick Greene, 29, of Mountain City, Tennessee, was a combat engineer who leaves behind a wife and two daughters.
6. Spc. Jason Dean Hunt, 22, of Tipton, Oklahoma, was recently married and had three children. He served a tour in Iraq and had re-enlisted for six more years.
7. Sgt. Amy Krueger, 29, of Kiel, Wisconsin, with the Madison-based 467th Medical Detachment, had arrived at Fort Hood on Tuesday and was scheduled to be deployed to Afghanistan in December. She enlisted just after 9/11.
8. Pfc. Aaron Thomas Nemelka, 19, of West Jordan, Utah, was an Eagle Scout. He was scheduled to be deployed to Afghanistan in January. His job: to diffuse bombs. Nemelka had enlisted in the Army in October 2008.
9. Spc. Michael Pearson , 21, of Bolingbrook, Illinois, was a talented musician who joined the Army only a year ago.
10. Capt. Russell Seager, 51, of Racine, Wisconsin, was a psychiatrist who joined the Army a few years ago because he wanted to help veterans returning to civilian life. He had gone to Fort Hood to for training before deploying to Afghanistan in December. He leaves behind a wife and a son.
11. Pvt. Francheska Velez, 21, of Chicago recently had returned from a tour of duty in Iraq and was pursuing a career in the Army. She was in the building where the shooting occurred filling out paperwork due to her pregnancy. Her unborn child was the 14th victim.
12. Juanita Warman, 55, of Pittsburgh was a military physician assistant and the daughter and granddaughter of Army veterans. She leaves behind a husband and two daughters.
13. Army Spc. Kham Xiong, 23, of St. Paul, Minnesota, immigrated from Thailand as a child. He graduated from St. Paul’s Community of Peace Academy in 2004 and was a husband and father. He was at Ft. Hood preparing for a January deployment.

Political Denial … will not bring these people back. The Main Stream media seems unwilling to report these facts, so for posterity, I’ll report them here and now, lets drop the “PC” and call it what it is …

An Islamic Terrorist killed 13 people at Fort Hood and wounded 31 other people. The “Religion of Peace” has now struck AGAIN on US Soil and in another vulnerable Gun Free Zone.

Sons of Liberty Flag - Liberty LOST!

Today I am flying the flag of the United States of America.  I haven’t flown it for some time because the news has not been positive for Liberty and Freedom. But the results of the Nov 3, 2009 election gives an indication the “political tide” has turned … finally some good news. People are voting against the “red tide” that has overtaken the country in the guise of “Hope and Change.”

2009 Election: The election results are in for the Nov 3rd, 2009 “off year” election. And the Republicans finally started winning some hearts and minds of the voters.  Obviously, New Jersey and Virginia governorships were the most newsworthy. However, down inside many smaller, less publicized races, Republicans were moving into grass roots positions (6 alone in Virginia).

The Conservative Tide of 9-12: We “felt it” when we went to the 9-12 Tea Party in Washington, DC. That was a microcosm of what we might be seeing today. My son and I got out of the car at the train station and sort of kept our jackets covering our TAX REVOLT T-shirts.  Might as well be cautious. There were only 2 of us. Then we met two ladies walking from their car and they were carrying posters, but the writing was turned “inward” toward them, so the wording couldn’t be seen. Then they spotted our T-Shirts and said … “oh, you’re part of us!”  Then they proudly showed us the signs they had made.  Now we were 4 of us.  As we moved toward the train station, others joined us and when we reached the station there were 10 of us. Inside the station, 30 people were waiting in line for the ticket machine … now there were 40 of us. On the platform there were 150 people waiting on the trains … now there were 190 of us. The train was almost full and at the next couple of stops, no one could get on … there were hundreds of us. But leaving the train and coming up the escalators at the station in DC (actual picture above), there were then thousands of us! We then joined the march which was already in progress and there were hundreds of thousands of us.

The Conservative Incoming Tide: We watched the tide turn on that day, moving ever so slightly and tentatively at first, then ending in a crescendo of people never seen before.  If you look closely, you’ll see the same tide turning  throughout  the United States.  The Tea Parties, the Town Hall meetings … people discovered that the “few” of them were not alone. They showed up at these events a little tentative, but discovered many more like themselves, same feelings, same smiles … and the confidence grew.  Now we’ve had an election that indicates clearly that a new tide is coming in to wash out the “red tide” that overtook us in November of 2009 … only one short (or in some cases very long) year ago.  The people are waking up, and they are beginning to stir and tell Washington that they’ve had enough of this socialist BS.

The Bottom Line

The tide is turning, America is waking up … they’ve seen what’s in store for them from the “Hope and Change” radicals (who are actually “burn it down” and “blow it up” radicals left over from the 60′s)  and the people don’t like what they see.

What? Unemployment at 9.8%?  Trillions of debt we didn’t have last year at this time? A stimulus that didn’t stimulate anything, just paid back political contributors?  And now they are coming at us with “Health Care Reform” that will cost us another Trillion in taxes to fix the BEST health care system in the world? And Cap and Trade … taxing us so we will use less energy ? (1) because we are running out of resources and (2) to save the planet from global warming?  STOP the parade … its going the wrong way! (See Environmental Religion) That was the message on Nov. 3rd in the voting booths.

• Ford Profits: And in a side note of the news, Ford Motor Company just registered a One BILLION dollar profit.  GM and Chrysler are still in bailout mode.  This tells us people are talking “with their dollars” too.  People have figured out that buying from GM and Chrysler is simply making a contribution to the Unions, (if they wanted to do that they’d just join one).  So they are supporting Capitalism and rejecting Socialism with their move to Ford products. This is a conscious decision … another sign people are waking up and the tide has turned.

It starts with you: So it starts with one person.  Me.  Then a friend, then a small crowd, then a large crowd, then a multitude.  Look around you, because you can be a part of the tide that washes away the Socialism contaminating  Washington and restores our Republic to the form and format of our founding fathers.  It is a format that has made us the strongest economy and strongest nation in the world. The last thing we want to do is CHANGE that!

It is a welcome sight to see my USA flag flying in front of the house.

I hope I can start flying it more often this year.  It is still the most beautiful Patriot Flag there is.

Today I am flying the Ft. Moultrie Flag. I fly this Patriot Flag on days when I post a blog with a subject of “Discussion threatening Liberty.”  Environmentalists have created their own pseudo-religion that is beginning to interfere with my Liberty and Freedom.

No Kool Aid for Me! At first its just a “political theory” and if people want to go off an believe in something off-the-wall, let them, I believe in Liberty and Freedom, everyone deserves both. If people want to drink Kool Aid in Jonestown, or sign on to “save the planet,”  (this is the same planet that will be here long after they have perished), let them. They should be FREE to do what they want, but don’t send me a plane ticket to Guyana and tell me to “drink up.”  When MY taxes go up because of “their misplaced beliefs” … and MY liberty and freedom are threatened by their “pseudo-religion” … then I start getting angry.  And that’s where we are today with Cap and Trade hovering over us, supported by a bunch of people who have fallen for the false Religion of Environmentalism... it is unprovable, it is simply a belief, and is not sustained by the facts.

This “environmental crusade” has gone too far, and its time to start calling these environmentalists what they are, religious fanatics.  There are thousands of blogs giving us “facts” about global warming, energy, etc. Lets just look at two graphs showing the resources of energy for the world. Unlike what we are being told by the state-controlled news media, there is no shortage of fuel, there is also no danger from CO2, there is no global warming caused by man.  What is sad about this is that (1) the news media reports these pseudo-religious beliefs as  TRUTH, and (2) we have a uneducated populace that is sufficiently UNeducated to believe the premises and preachers promoting this  new false religion.  How can some people look right at the facts and yet be blind to them?  Because they “believe” something different. Lets begin with some DOCUMENTED fact to demonstrate the example:

On the left, the graph clearly depict that the United States has 28% of the world’s coal supply. What it does not depict is that we also have 90% of the technology to make coal a safe and viable energy source for the United States.

But we are told we cannot use coal because it is not “clean” energy. It causes CO2.  Yeah, so what?  What’s wrong with CO2.  If you have any brain left and research it, you’ll see that it is NOT a toxic gas and it is not altering the environment.

But it causes global warming!  Yeah?  Prove it!  … and you cannot! So why are we told we cannot use coal as an energy source when we hve 28% of the world’s supply?

According to the Congressional Research Service in their pdf, which you can view and download here you can make the following statement:

While Russia is a close second with 1,248 billion barrels, other energy producing nations are far behind. No. 3 is Saudi Arabia (543 billion barrels), followed by China (494 billion barrels), Iran (426 billion barrels) and Canada (221 billion barrels.)

Why do people “believe” otherwise? So we are not running out of resources, we have more than anyone else in the world. We are “running out” of them because the environmentalists and socialists have convinced an uneducated populace that this is true.  They have “sold” people into BELIEVING we are running out of resources. And why would they do this? (Follow the money … increased taxes anyone?).  But the big question is why were some  people willing to go to Jonestown and drink the [poisoned] Kool Aid, or just as blindly, today believe these environmental distortions? Both had and have to do with religion and beliefs.

Because people need to “believe” in something when they’ve lost faith in everything else.

If People Fail to Believe in God, They Will Believe in Anything

Mankind must “believe.” What Chesterton is saying in the last comment is that mankind has this genetically-coded urge to believe in something. Man has, throughout history, created religions and gods (and this long before there was a Jew, Christian or Muslim). If man didn’t understand something, he simply made a god of it and worshiped it to explain away his lack of understanding. They created symbols and icons to mark their progress toward whatever utopia that fitted into their belief system.  Then they blindly follow the milestones, thanking their new god as they make the journey.

The Belief Vacuum. Today, there is an unfortunate lack of “belief” in God, regardless of what s/he is named.  There is a parallel lack of belief in this great country, in its ideals and its profound (planned-not-accidental) success. And when these  basic values are no longer believed, there is a vacuum in the human mind that must be filled to honor the human genetically-coded need for believing in something.  Today, “Environmentalism” has moved from a do-gooder (save the trees) theory to an emerging  religion.  It gives the unbeliever something to believe in.  Unbelievers who have either lost traditional beliefs or were never taught them in the first place. When a society is “dumbed down” …  it become vulnerable to false religions and man-made beliefs. The vacuum sucks them in to whatever folly the next false leader puts before them.

Explaining the Obvious. If you understood God, or may just understood logic, you wouldn’t be worried about CO2. You would simply be awed by the power of the sun that warms the planet during the day, and allows the planet to cool during the night. Global warming and cooling happens each day, even insects have the brainpower to understand that, basing daily and seasonal behavior upon temperature. The earth is tilted in its orbit, hence the sun’s intensity changes causing summer and winter. Also, the sun changes intensity with its own solar cycles, sometimes  with more sunspots, sometimes with less … sometimes hotter sometimes cooler.  The result is the earth warms and cools depending upon the sun. (Period!)

Filling the Vacuum: If you don’t understand this simple truth of global warming and cooling, then you  are “genetically-coded” to create something to explain it … man-made global warming fits the bill perfectly, CO2, pollution, oil, big corporations, etc. The people who have nothing else to believe in “see” something, they place “blame” (The Devil, Bogeyman, Big Oil), they form a theory to give it validity (Global Warming) then are self-encouraged to believe in it (we must save the planet).  With the new religion in place, they will then blindly attack all doubts and facts to the contrary. (Because they cannot allow others to think they made a mistake in the original hypothesis, or the new religion would collapse). And then to sustain it, how about some government control?  This just to keep the global warming in balance? In a god-less vacuum, mankind will be creative and fill the vacuum…. the result this time is the new Environmental Religion.

Environmental Sheeple The uneducated “followers” of this new religion are the saddest part of the commentary, just simple sheeple.  They are easily being led by some evil shepherds  who want to do this country and this society great harm.  These  false leaders are the SAME people from the 60′s who then wanted to “burn it down” and “blow it up” … and now they sit at the right and left hands of the President of the United States … who himself listened to his pastor say “God Damn America!” and thought nothing of it.  These 60′s radical “leaders” understand the concepts of moving the uneducated, utilizing their blinded belief in Environmentalism  toward their own form of religion… Socialism. And this is cloaked under the guise of “saving the planet” the holy robe of the new religion … something “everyone” should believe in! Who would not want the planet to be saved?

Freedom of Religion: Every skeptic of every religion ends the debate by saying “Prove it!” … which cannot be done … as the Arch Bishop of Canterbury once said, “You must believe in order to see, not see in order to believe.“   So belief needs no “proof” … you are simply FREE TO CHOOSE to believe or not.  And one could say the same for the Environmental Religion.  The difference here is the forced-conversion factor. In America, we are FREE to choose (or not) our religion of choice.   However, if a member of  another religion tells use we must believe in what they believe, then there is a problem.  And WE are not the problem, those forcing a foreign religion upon us ARE the problem!

I do not accept the precepts of Environmental Religion,

that is my CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT!

The First Amendment: In the United States, freedom of religion is a constitutionally guaranteed right provided in the religion clauses of the First Amendment.

Taxation to Pay for a False Religion? Forcing this pseudo-religion on me and increasing my taxes to pay for it (Cap and Trade) is a direct assault on my First Amendment Constitutional rights. And to take it a step further, it was Thomas Jefferson who put forth the idea of separation of church and state.  For the “revisionists” among us, this should fit right into the debate. The Constitution protects me from being forced into a church, ANY church! So I will not be FORCED to believe in or support a religion which to me is sheer folly. Nor should I be coerced to contribute my wealth to a church I refuse to join.  The Constitution gives me the right not to accede to such religious beliefs. The foundation of our Republic is based upon freedom of religion…. and in this case, freedom FROM religion. Do you believe we should “pay” for someone’s religion in which we don’t believe?  Cap and Trade is proposing just that!   If you want to drink the Environmental Kool Aid … have at it. You want to pay extra taxes to support YOUR beliefs, go right ahead … you have the FREEDOM to do both, and I support your right to do what you feel is right.  I could care less what you think or do with your money. Frankly, its none of my business, just don’t ask me to join you and don’t ask for my money to support your folly.

You should have the Liberty and Freedom to believe what you want …

Just don’t use your religion to encroach upon MY Liberty and Freedom …

Because, then you’ve got a new problem … me!

(and if you hadn’t noticed,  I’m starting to lose my temper!).
