Today I’m flying the First Navy Union Jack, Liberty and Freedom are once again in jeopardy, threatened by global ignorance.  This time the EPA has decided the CO2 we breath out and plants must have to survive is a hazard to our health. (Its time to S.T.O.P.)

Discovery News: April 17, 2009 — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency shifted course and deemed carbon dioxide a health risk on Friday, in a turnabout important to global warming-related regulation.

“After a thorough scientific review ordered in 2007 by the U.S. Supreme Court, the Environmental Protection Agency issued a proposed finding … that greenhouse gases contribute to air pollution that may endanger public health or welfare,” an EPA statement posted on the agency website read.

“This finding confirms that greenhouse gas pollution is a serious problem now and for future generations. Fortunately, it follows President (Barack) Obama’s call for a low-carbon economy and strong leadership in Congress on clean energy and climate legislation,” Administrator Lisa Jackson said.

“This pollution problem has a solution — one that will create millions of green jobs and end our country’s dependence on foreign oil.

EPA: Greenhouse Gases Threaten Public Health and the Environment (Dec 7, 2009) Science overwhelmingly shows greenhouse gas concentrations at unprecedented levels due to human activity. After a thorough examination of the scientific evidence and careful consideration of public comments, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced today that greenhouse gases (GHGs) threaten the public health and welfare of the American people. EPA also finds that GHG emissions from on-road vehicles contribute to that threat.

Simplified … the EPA under Obama’s direction has done an end run around congress and decided to regulate CO2 giving them the power over emissions from all sources.  And this without a single vote of approval or disapproval from the representatives of the people.  This is the most blatant abuse of Presidential power yet by this administration.  (It is time to S.T.O.P.)

From Charles Krauthammer: …The administration has used the finding as a prod to Congress, saying that if lawmakers do not act to control greenhouse gas pollution it will use its rule-making power to do so. At the same time, the president and his top environmental aides have said that they prefer such a major step be taken through the legislative process.

Look, it’s blackmail, a way of saying to Congress, ‘Either you do cap and trade or we’re going to do cap, no trade. We’re going to regulate every aspect of American life.’

This is, if the EPA now has in its power, and perhaps it will enact it over time, to intrude into every aspect of American life. I mean, essentially what it can do is to regulate emissions from any institution, any enterprise, any apartment block that emits more than 250 tons of CO2 in a year, which is a very low level. It says it’s going to raise that much higher, but it doesn’t have the authority to actually raise it. So he can regulate every aspect of American life.

It really is what Václav Klaus, the president of the Czech Republic, said: Environmentalism is a new socialism. It’s a way for the feds, for the best and the brightest in the federal government, to regulate all aspects of life. It used to be in the name of socialism, which was social equality. Now it’s in the name of the planet. It’s a smart strategy on the part of the Left, but it is a hell of a way to do it. If you want to do it, at least you do it by the consensus of Congress. If you do it by regulation, there’s going to be a revolution on the administration’s hands.

CO2 Peak

From The Independent Scientist: The earth needs more CO2. Carbon dioxide absorbs infrared radiation (IR) in three narrow bands of wavelengths, which are 2.7, 4.3 and 15 micrometers (µM). This means that most of the heat producing radiation escapes it. (It is not “retaining heat” and causing global warming).

Water vapor (which is 100 times as much of a greenhouse gas as CO2) can change by a factor of 2 from day-to-day. CO2 changes by 2 ppm (parts per million) per year. That’s 36,500,000,000 times as much change by water vapor as by CO2. A 1°C temperature change due to CO2 in 20 years (0.000137°C per day) would need a 5,000,000°C change due to water vapor from day-to-day and place to place, if propagandists were producing a consistent logic. Of course, radiation would deplete first, but still, water vapor would swamp anything CO2 does based on the logic of propagandists, and it means there is no “delicate balance” being upset by humans.

Obama: “If you don’t pass this legislation, then … the EPA is going to have to regulate in this area,” the official said. “And it is not going to be able to regulate on a market-based way, so it’s going to have to regulate in a command-and-control way, which will probably generate even more uncertainty.” (link FoxNews)

A Continuing Government Takeover: The Government now can control the emissions from any source, industry, cars, (people?). This means they can control the kinds of industry, the amount of it, the amount of manufacturing allowed. They can control the size of our cars, they can TAX and FINE people who do not agree with them. Why can’t people see that there has been a COUP in the USA … this is not just “another administration” … these people have TAKEN OVER!!!!

There is no global warming caused by mankind. CO2 is .033% of the earth’s atmosphere. Note that Nitrogen is 78% of the air, and also absorbs infra-red … making it a “greenhouse” gas, but it is not “hazardous.”  Since man doesn’t “make” nitrogen, the politicians ignore it.  This is a POLITICAL HOAX for ignorant people … and since there seems to be a lot of ignorance today, the libs are using it to take control of the country.  Try this:  If  CO2 it is reduced to lower levels, plants will die … PLANTS MUST HAVE CO2 to LIVE!   Why can’t people see this is just a perpetration of a hoax for the purpose of gaining POWER over PEOPLE.  We are in the midst of a political coup in the USA and people seem blind to it.

OBAMA IS TRANSFORMING AMERICA: If you want to S.T.O.P. the actions like this, giving the EPA control over CO2 emissions, then you are going to have to S.T.O.P. the Democrats and Liberals in Congress in November! And in the meantime we must register our OUTRAGE at this most recent development.  FIRST of all FIGHT THE IGNORANCE … GET INFORMED!  But if YOU don’t start doing something, this will continue … and this beloved Republic will be lost.  Obama promised he was going to “transform America well …

1st Navy Union Jack - Liberty Threatened

Today I am still flying the United States Flag with the Memorial Ribbon. I am flying this in honor of Pearl Harbor Day, Dec 7th and this morning I just didn’t feel like changing it.  It is still the most beautiful flag I have.  But to keep it freely flying, people have to get involved in their government and help change the direction of the “hopey/changey thingy” going on that is destroying our country with blatant Socialism.

Political Train Wreck!

A Political Train Wreck! A Health Care bill that we don’t want (or need) is being forced upon us … not to “reform” the best health care in the world, but to increase our dependence on government and move money from those who have earned it to those who have not. We have an EPA that is declaring, on their own without input from any of our representatives, that CO2, the minute gas we exhale is a pollutant. We have a President that as Commander in Chief, takes 11 months to “take the reigns” of the Afghanistan war and 3 months to act upon a way forward from the generals he has chosen. We have a President and a Congress that speaks about creating jobs ($260,000 per job with the stimulus) but legislates to supress jobs … creating an uncertainty that would keep any business owner from hiring employees. (Making us wonder if this is the plan … to make more people dependent upon the government). We have a sinking economy that can no longer be blamed on the Bush Administration and a central government that believes printing money and giving it to people (eg Evita in Argentina?) will make the people love them, but bankrupt the nation again making people dependent upon a government that is corrupting itself. And the lies and broken promises … bipartisanship, CSPAN Cameras covering health care debates (instead closed doors) … (the list is too long for this post).

Worried?  If not, then you are not paying attention and there is no hope for you.  But if you are worried, then it is time to GET INVOLVED.

1. Know the ISSUES!

Do you know what issues are before congress right now?  … not just the ones you “hear” about on the [state-run] media outlets like CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC … but the issues that are being discussed and voted upon by your Senators and Representatives … often not even covered by the national media.

• Both House.Gov and Senate.Gov have web pages that will give you current proceedings of these bodies. Click on these links and bookmark them for future reference.
• WashingtonWatch.com is an excellent source of seeing the issues before they become law. Both Senate and House bills are listed here. You can click on a link for each and go directly a synopsis of the bill. It shows the projected “Cost per Family” and gives a rough poll on for/against.  Try it now.
• Use the “right rail” of the Patriot’s Flag … the area to the right of this text. There are important links there that will direct you to INFORMATION.  Also check out the REFERENCES page … I’ve got many ways for you to discover information already “linked” for you.
• The Rasmussen page (linked in the right rail) is an excellent source on issues (and some of them are obscure). You can get a DAILY UPDATE from Rasmussen on the latest polls. An easy “sign up” and no spam is involved.  This is a great way to be kept up to date on issues.
• DO NOT rely on what others may “tell” you… and here I must include TV and Radio as well as the bridge club. Those are “opinions” and “everyone has one”.  THINK FOR YOURSELF, and to do that you don’t “repeat” what you heard, you “research” what you heard. Dig into the issue, make up your own mind .. and have an opinion you can back up with authority.

2. Use your VOICE!

There are many ways now, via the internet, to “speak” to your representatives. You always hear people say “call your congressman” or “write your congressman” … but can you do it with a simple click of the mouse?  Here are some easy ways to accomplish this SIMPLE task:

• Congress.Org is a great “one stop” way of getting started. Here you can find hot topics, current issues, and by putting in your zip code, you will be given the email addresses of your Senators and Congressmen.
• While there sign up for MegaVote. This is a free service. It sends you the voting results of YOUR representatives (showing all legislation, many of the bills you’ve never heard of!). When you get the email, if you have a question about the vote, the site is set up to let you immediately send an email back to your representative. (With your picture if you like!).
• Senate Phone Numbers and Emails are HERE.
• House Phone Numbers and Emails are HERE
• Contact the White House EMAIL … Comments: 202-456-1111. Switchboard: 202-456-1414
• Another excellent source of “news” is [Conservative]  The Free Republic.  It is a free site and you can “talk back” on the issues and read through other peoples’ comments.  An hour with the Free Republic will give you all the news you need to know and much of it you will never see on television.  Sign up for FREE … you don’t get any spam or emails from them. My login name on that site is ThePatriotsFlag … so you can watch what I’m saying if you like.

3. Take ACTION!

Take action by first getting yourself INFORMED.  Read, Read, Read.  I’m not going to give a list of books to read (you can get that from Oprah), but as an example, mention Sarah Palin and watch the reaction. Democrats go nuts, Republicans are hesitant, Tea Party People are enthusiastic.  How can this same person be all these to people?  Read the book Going Rogue.  So many things you have “heard” are not true, and there are many other things you will learn that you never saw discussed on TV.  The bottom line here, DO NOT listen to what other people think or what other people have read… READ it yourself, RESEARCH it yourself, then make up your own mind.

• Once you know the issues. find out where your representatives stand on the issue.  Find you Senators’ and Representatives’ web sites. Read what they are saying. (Caution: Lindsey Graham’s site still thinks he is a Conservative!)
  • Another way is to put in their name and and issue into Google, like: Jim DeMint Health Care.  You’ll get both pro and con information … READ BOTH, make up YOUR OWN mind!
• Write them, Call them, Tell them what you think … “how to do this” is listed above in #2.
• Get involved in the demonstrations that you can attend locally. Getting involved in events like these give you a feeling of ownership of your government. (I did it, I was at the 9-12 Rally in Washington DC)  You’ll meet many other people like yourself and find out you are “not alone” in this fight for the Freedom and Liberty of our great country!

4. DO it AGAIN!

OK, did you do all that?  Got everything bookmarked so you can participate at the click of a mouse?  Good for you. Now use the bookmarks … OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER.

• When one million people call the government it has an impact.  You are only “one” of a “million” …and that seems insignificant, but it is not.  And if you call twice, and so do others, then two million calls/emails have been received … call again and it is 3 million.  Three calls on YOUR part can have a huge impact on your representatives.  Burning the lines to the extent of having the telephones and servers overwhelmed sends an important message when a particular issue is before the congress.

The Bottom Line

There are about 360,000,000 of us out here in the country. There are about 460 people in Washington, DC “deciding” everything for us (did you vote for CO2 being a pollutant? Do you know The Safe School Czar’s latest moves?). And recently, they have not done a good job in representing the feelings of the people they represent, the result is a political train wreck, and you and I are on the train!

And see who catches hell.

The politicians driving this train are not doing what we want, and WE will “catch the hell” of what they are doing.  (Will congress have to use the health care plan they make us use … nope!) Go to Rasmussen and see the daily polls … after you’ve read them, stand back and give it an “overall” look … on most of the issues, the congress is not doing what the majority of people want them to do. We have a run-away congress being led by an ultra left wing Socialist. Both entities are in office because the American People were NOT informed, and because they DID NOT take action.

The 2010 elections are coming soon … start making your difference now!

• We have an important election coming up in 2010. In some ways it could be the “last” free election we have. If the present Congress and President are not halted in their march toward Socialism, we may not get another chance to stop them. Get involved RIGHT NOW to prepare for 2010.

1. Get Involved and KNOW THE ISSUES (don’t rely on some other person’s opinions, KNOW FOR YOURSELF!)
2. Use your VOICE … be heard … find YOUR WAY of being heard, maybe use methods I’ve listed above.
3. Take Action … don’t just sit there … DO SOMETHING … NOW!
4. Do it Again … and again, and again, and again … till “they” hear you!  Then watch the voting results, (sign up for Megavote so you can see if they are hearing you!)

I am flying the Ft Moultrie flag. I do this when liberty is in jeopardy. Today (on a Saturday session to continue to “rush” the Health Care process) the Democrats killed an amendment to restore 42 billion dollars back to Medicare. Do you remember the 2008 campaign when Democrats were touting that Republicans would be dangerous to the welfare of Senior Citizens? They lied, it wasn’t the Republicans that were the threat, it was the Democrats!  Here’s the proof!

Environmentalists are a Threat!

The Hill: Democrats held fast Saturday against another Republican attempt to restore funding for a Medicare program facing cuts in the Senate healthcare bill. During a rare weekend session, Senate Democrats blocked a GOP move to restore about $42 billion in funding for a home healthcare Medicare program. Democrats argued that the cuts wouldn’t affect Medicare patients’ quality of care and would make the home healthcare benefit stronger by forcing it to be more efficient.

Republicans have sought to portray the approximately $460 billion worth of Medicare cuts in the healthcare bill as evidence that the Democrats’ plans will put seniors’ healthcare at risk. “What will happen is that these programs will disappear because they’ll go in the red because of the cuts these Democrats are proposing,” said Sen. Mike Johanns (R-Neb.), the sponsor of the amendment that was rejected Saturday. On Thursday, Republicans offered an amendment blocking all proposed Medicare cuts, but it failed on a largely party-line vote.

Thank you Democrats for watching out for senior citizens!

For over 15 months I have been stating that the Obama COLB posted on Fight the Smears and FactCheck are forgeries. The Obama supporters have attempted to ridicule and misrepresent the facts, of those who question the validity of a single document, the Certification of Live Birth posted on Fight the Smears and FactCheck.

Here lies the challenge to everyone that wants to see for themselves, by their own hand evidence of document forgery.

Here are the files that you will need, please note that these image are HIGH Resolution images with the exception of the FTS one, all the others are large images. Click to download:

• COLB #2 without SEAL (size 2304 x 2304)
• Date Signature (size 3072 x 2304)
• Raised seal (Size 2304 x 3072)
• Vertical #3 with SEAL (size 2304 x 3072)
• COLB #3 on its side (size 3072 x 2304)
• FTS (size 585 x 575
• DailyKos (size 2427 x 2369)

• Zip file of all above: (2,092 kb file <= warning, large file)

All you need to do is the following;

1. Download the files and save to your hard drive.
2. Browse to the folder that you saved the files to.
3. Right click on the file and in the menu select ‘Open with’ and choose ‘Paint’
4. This will open the selected file in Microsoft Paint.
5. You don’t have to resize the image, as it would be better if you viewed if  full size.
6. With the image opened, you have 2 options. Go to the Menu bar and select ‘Image’ and then ‘Invert colors’ or use the Ctrl + I keys.
7. Save that file as xxxxInv, where xxx is the original file name and INV stands for Inverted.
8. Now compare the images.
9. Note the following;

• 28.jpg has no SEAL applied to it
• birth_certificate_1.jpg shows CLEAR indications of an embossed SEAL.
• birth_certificate_2.jpg shows CLEAR indications of an embossed SEAL.
• birth_certificate_3.jpg shows NO indications of an any line breakage and paper perforation by anything let alone an embossed SEAL.
• birth_certificate_5.jpg shows CLEAR indications of an embossed SEAL.
• birth_certificate_9.jpg is the
• bo_birth_certificate-kos.jpg shows NO indications of an any line breakage and paper perforation by anything let alone an embossed SEAL.

There you have your evidence, three different COLB posted. Using only your operating system, and a very simple graphics program with nothing else you have been able see with your own eyes the evidence of document forgery. Without having to adjust the brightness or contrast, hue and saturation, you can plainly see the evidence. How can indentations and perforations be clearly seen on one image and totally absent the next?

I proved it, you can too: Now I have “personally” proven that COLBs in question are forgeries.  If you go to the weblog for NoBarackO8, you’ll even find some videos this person has made to offer more proof.  “Fight the Smears” is something I would expect this kind of nonsense from, but FactCheck … hmmm, makes you wonder doesn’t it?

Why? I will always wonder why President Obama continues to mount up legal fees (over $1,000,000 now) to prevent his Birth Certificate from seeing the light of day.  I’m not saying he isn’t a citizen, I’m saying I’m doubting it … and even more after going through the above exercise.  You should try it. It is fun to do and not difficult.  Prove it for yourself. Then ask yourself this question:

Why would “forgeries” of the COLB be placed online as “real” and why would the President continue to spend legal fees ($1,000,000 and counting) to block the COLB from public sight?

S.C. Flag - Relatively Calm

Today I am flying the Union Jack.  US Liberty and Freedom are threatened by an indecisive and an UNCOMMITTED President of the United States. I’m referring to his speech on the war in Afghanistan on Dec 2n 2009. A speech in which he could not say, “Victory” or “Win”  … even though standing before cadets at a military academy who will risk and give their lives for attempting to achieve both.

Un-Committed War

During his speech on December 1st, 2009 at West Point, the President of the United States told the audience how vital the war in Afghanistan was, and in the next few statements, also said we would be withdrawing troops within a year and a half.  He made it clear that we “might be” at war with the Taliban, Al Qaeda didn’t seem to be the enemy any longer.  Also, there was reference to the cost of the war and that it would be difficult to sustain in this poor economy.

Charles Krauthammer: We shall fight in the air, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields, we shall fight in the hills — for 18 months. Then we start packing for home. We shall never surrender — unless the war gets too expensive, in which case, we shall quote Eisenhower on “the need to maintain balance in and among national programs” and then insist that “we can’t simply afford to ignore the price of these wars.”(From his column Dec 4, 2009)

“Obama Takes Reins” … that was the headline this morning. And it says it all about “commitment”.  This man has been President of the United State since last January … 11 months!  Do you mean this war has “not been in his hands for 11 months?”

1. Death for no commitment By adding troops to the conflict in Afghanistan without the commitment of VICTORY and TOTAL SUCCESS, (by beginning a withdrawal wiithin a year and a half) the President is committing soldiers LIVES for no REASON!  The morale in the military will go to ZERO … as it should.  What reason would you have to volunteer to risk your life?  … surely not for the pay or the death benefits if you are killed!

2. A War with no Name: Who are we fighting?  Afghanistan?  No, we’re trying to put that country back together. The Taliban?  Why?  We are trying to get them “reintroduced into the government” and trying to negotiate with them to end hostilities.  Al Qaeda no longer seems to be the enemy, so we can’t be at war with them. The “War on Terror” is no longer called a War on Terror.  So what have we got?  A war, for a fuzzy reason, with no commitment, terribly dangerous for our troops.  I guess we should just name it “Obama’s War” … it fits right in with the rest of his administration policies.

3. Budgeting for War:  This to me is almost an oxymoron. You don’t restrict warfare because of a budget.  Yes war is expensive (and do you notice we are only now learning the real costs/troop, etc … we’ve never seen that before). So we need to “limit Obama’s war” because it is difficult to fight a war in a recession.  ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!  If the “costs” of a war is a limiting factor, then THERE SHOULD NOT BE A WAR because the reasons for war are not valid.

4. Past and Present War: What would a soldier from 1942 think about this situation.  The “decision” for war then was VICTORY or DEFEAT.  It was LIVE or DIE, it was USA or no USA!  There was no discussion of costs or collateral damage.  There were very few “rules for engagement”.  You were in the WAR because if you didn’t WIN it, you would lose your COUNTRY and your LIFE. None of that is present in this war.  It is Obama’s Uncommitted War.

5. The Threat of War: If the threat of war does not force you to:

• Drop worry about collateral damage (the poor women and children)
• Drop the cost of war (war during recession)
• Drop any thought of retreat and withdrawal
• Drop the idea of TOTAL VICTORY
  • THEN YOU SHOULD NOT BE AT WAR!

6. Fight for Victory: When you declare war the reason had better be a good one. YOU and YOUR COUNTRY must be at such a risk that you give no thought to budgets, possible defeats, withdrawals, and collateral damage. There is no such thing as a “politically correct” war. That means if you are going to war, you are going to KILL PEOPLE … and that includes women and children and anyone else that gets in the way. You cannot fight a “politically correct” war.  There is NO SUCH THING!  You carpet bomb, you terrorize, you do EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO WIN and strike horrible fear into your enemy so you will be VICTORIOUS.

• In Afghanistan, you bomb them back to their BC roots … hurt them so badly they will never again even think of aggression toward the United States. Make them so afraid that if someone in their midst talks of terrorism against the United States, THEY take action and rid themselves of such a threat … knowing the WRATH of the USA will fall upon them again.

Summary: If we are not willing to do those terrible things, then we should not be at war.  We should either WIN DECISIVELY or we should bring our blessed troops home to the safety of their homeland and families.  The odds are we will pay for such a withdrawal … but then we’ll have a better reason for war, won’t we?

This is a special  time to Pray for the Troops, and if you’ve forgotten how to pray, then as an alternative, get active to support the troops … give to the USO, give your time, do anything you can to help their morale. They need us more than ever right now. They have a Commander in Chief asking them to die for nothing.  But such is the way of Obama’s War.
