Interesting post from the Free Republic

RegulatorCountry to ThePatriotsFlag

The big, fat capitals mean that the writer is very concerned with impressions. The “B” is larger than the “O,” so he sees himself as more important than the family name. Writing directly over the top of these capitals, though, is an oddly defacing thing to do, with the “O” being literally struck through, negated. The handwriting other than the exaggerated capital letters trails off, unfinished. The angles and baseline are all over the place, not especially directional or orderly.

So, this is a showy person who is all about himself, who is concerned more about appearances than anything else, but ends up undermining the very appearance he initially seeks to convey. He’s oddly detached from his family, and even seeks to negate them. He makes quite the splash initially, but trails off into disorganization and does not finish what he starts. He’s ultimately aimless and baseless.

What’s really amusing, is that this is so self-conscious and tortured, that it could only be a deliberate effort to come up with an interesting signature. It’s affected and not at all genuine, in other words.

But, the man still shines right through.
