We The People
Today I am flying the flag of the United States of America. I fly this PATRIOT flag when I post something extremely important to Liberty and Freedom for our great country. I hope every Tea Party Group and every person finds this post and this video. Everyone must see it. It is a gentle, but stern call to arms.
The Declaration of Independence “That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness”
There has been a socialist revolution in our country since November of 2009. It came in the form of an undocumented leader, for whom we cannot account, and with soaring slogan of “Hope and Change” that lured the unquestioning masses to give power to an unknown entity. That entity, now exposed, was nothing more than a socialist who immediately used his new power to change the form of government under which we are living. This is unacceptable.
The revolution of 2010 is beginning. There is a second, “not so quiet” but orderly revolution coming in November of 2010 when we will take back our beloved country and begin returning it to the ideals of the founding fathers. Since it is the Right of the People to “alter or abolish” a government that becomes destructive and institute a new government more likely to effect our Safety and Happiness … we WILL exercise that right in the November election of 2010. And for any American who loves our country, failure to take back our country is not an option.
We the People …
Dear President Obama,
“We The People” have stated resolutely we reject your vision for our country. You claim you have not heard us. “We The People” have assembled across America resiting your efforts to subvert our constitution and undermine our liberty. You claim you have not seen us. Since you have not acknowledged our message, let us here present it once more. for if, as President Wilson said, a Leader’s ear must ring with the voices of the people, the time has come.
Our greatest treasure is freedom – the absence of restraints on our ability to thank and to act. The corollary of freedom is individual responsibility. We believe in the power of the individual. A few years ago President Bush said, “History moves toward freedom because the desire for freedom is written in every human heart.” Let us add that we will preserve it only as long as devotion to freedom is expressed in the hear of our actions.
When President Lincoln dedicated Gettysburg National Cemetery he declared, “It is for us the living …to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here thus so nobly advanced.” That unfinished cause for which our soldiers willingly go to battle and for which so many have given their lives is a free United States of America. It has been nearly one hundred fifty years and the work President Lincoln spoke of is not finished. In fact, that work will never be finished.
Freedom is the capacity for self-determination. It is not an entity but a condition, and conditions change. Freedom can expand, yet so can it contract. You promised change when you took office, Mr. President, but subjugation is not change we wanted or will accept. You have expanded government, violated our constitution, confounded laws, seized private industry, destroyed jobs, perverted our economy, curtailed free speech, corrupted our currency, weakened our national security and endangered our sovereignty.
By compromising our nation’s cultural, legal and economic institutions, you are ensuring that our children will never achieve the same quality of life as we enjoy today. Through generational theft, you are robbing the unborn of opportunity.
This is not acceptable. Not in America. We did not become a strong nation through hope but rather through self-reliance. No one better understands the relationship between individual achievement, dignity and strength than our armed forces. Through ever war our soldiers have held this nation’s destiny in their hands. They have not failed us. They cherish freedom enough that they are willing to die for it. Our duty to them and to ourselves is to treasure freedom enough to live up to it.
We accept the challenge, Mr. President. That is why we are assembling across the land to deliver our message to you as often and in every way we can. Dismiss us at your political peril. Our great nation is a Republic. We will not accept tyranny under any guise. Your policy to redistribute the fruits of our labor is Statism and will not be tolerated.
By our honor, Mr. President, We vow forever to resist coercive government in America. Patriots will not stand silent as you attempt to dismantle the greatest nation on earth. “We the People” will defend our liberty, we will protect our beloved country and America’s exceptionalism will prevail.

150 people, some standing in the hallway in a (too warm) crowded room? And they certainly didn’t show up to hear me talk about a web page, and there was no “keynote” speaker of great renown. There were no give-a-ways, in fact we asked for donations. So why did all these people show up on a Friday night? Why is it that all of us could barely get a word in edgewise? The answer in the end was rather simple. These people, very simply, wanted to be heard and wanted to “do something” to try to change what they are seeing happen to their country. We didn’t need a “speaker” last night. We didn’t need a “program” or a give-a-way. What we offered (by accident, I think) was the opportunity to “speak out” and “be heard.”
ENERGY This is why the politicians, at the same time both fear us and need us. In that crowded room last night was the ENERGY the politicians need to move forward with whatever agenda they may have. The Tea Party meeting is a source of ENERGY that can be given or withheld and will only be given with forethought and care. It is ENERGY that doesn’t belong to anyone or any party, it is ENERGY that only belonged to the people in that room last night … and most of them didn’t know each other! It is an ENERGY that is building noticeably in our little group … (55 to 75 to 150 people … growing with each meeting). And there is nothing driving this growth except a fragile email list and word of mouth. Yet it builds.
The alarm has been sounded … under McCain, the alarm would have been silent. Now REAL battle lines are being drawn, Americans …in droves … are buying up Constitution study books and going to classes, forming and joining Tea Party groups. Democrats are literally on the “run.” Virginia, New Jersey and even Massachusetts were CONSERVATIVE victories. It is becoming obvious that we are going to PUSH THEM BACK HARD in this next election and in the process maybe many “on-the-fence Independents” who voted for HOPE AND CHANGE and a bunch of numb Republicans that stayed home will at last hear the alarm and STAND UP FOR SOMETHING AND DO SOMETHING RIGHT for a change.
