Today I am flying the Gadsden flag, a patriot flag I fly when the blog is discussing Tea Party-related information. The Democrats don’t understand the Tea Party Movement  as their “strategy” is proving.  The news media does not understand it either, and they are in so much “alignment” with the Democrats they too are blind to the  simple truth. They expend great effort is to define complexity of what it is they are seeing.  But it is not “complexity” … it is “simplicity.”  Most people in America do not like what they are seeing happen! Believe it or not … Juan Williams (a left-leaning journalist),  actually gets get’s it RIGHT! ………

Juan Williams

Wall Street Journal – Juan Williams There is danger for Democrats in recent attempts to dismiss the tea party movement as violent racists deserving of contempt. Demonizing these folks may energize the Democrats’ left-wing base. But it is a big turnoff to voters who have problems with the Democratic agenda that have nothing to do with racism. But Democrats cannot win elections without capturing the votes of independent-minded swing voters. And that is where writing off the tea party as a bunch of racist kooks becomes self-destructive. The tea party outrage over health-care reform, deficit spending and entitlements run amok is no fringe concern. And it is insulting to all voters to suggest that criticism of President Obama, even by people who want to throw him out of office, is motivated by racism.

Tea party activists are surprisingly mainstream when it comes to their grievances about politics. They fit right in with most American voters who tell pollsters the country has been headed in the wrong direction under both Presidents Bush and Obama. A Pew poll in early March found 71% of Americans “dissatisfied with the way things are going in the country today.” Republicans and Democrats in Congress have low ratings —23% and 31% approval respectively, according to Pew. A Fox poll in February found that 59% say they don’t trust the federal government. A CNN poll the same month reported results that suggest 56% are well beyond mere mistrust: They agree that the federal government is “so large and powerful that it poses an immediate threat to rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens.” (Read Full Article HERE)

And look at Rasmussen’s latest information (04.05.10) …

Rasmussen: On major issues, 48% of voters say that the average Tea Party member is closer to their views than President Barack Obama. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 44% hold the opposite view and believe the president’s views are closer to their own. Not surprisingly, Republicans overwhelmingly feel closer to the Tea Party and most Democrats say that their views are more like Obama’s. Among voters not affiliated with either major political party, 50% say they’re closer to the Tea Party while 38% side with the President.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 46% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate, up three points from last week, while 39% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent, up four points from the previous survey. Voter support for Democrats is at its highest level measured since early December 2009, while GOP support matches the highest level measured since weekly tracking began in early April 2007.

Forty-five percent (45%) of voters not affiliated with either major party now prefer the Republican candidate, while 25% like the Democrat. Unaffiliated support for Republicans held steady from last week, but support for Democrats is up six points from the previous survey. One week after President Obama signed the health care bill into law, 54% of the nation’s likely voters favor repealing the it.

The Bottom Line

The WRONG Moves …

Liberal Democrat Flag

  • The Democrat Attacks are the WRONG moves that MOVE the RIGHT! “Name calling” is generating the opposite affect they desire.  They try to describe the movement as racist, as anti-American, as Old White People, KKK, Nazi,  etc.  But as the Tea Party grows, the people “inside” it know this is a lie because “that” is not the Tea Party they are experiencing.   The more attacks from the Democrats, the more they prove to a majority of voters that they are lying … it’s very obvious to anyone inside the movement.  So the greater the vitriol against the Tea Party, the greater fuel it is given and the strong it becomes. If the Democrats want to Tea Party to gain power, they should continue to attack it.  “Name-calling” is a major propellant for the Tea Party Movement.

Example: You want to solidify a Tea Party Person into believing s/he is doing the right thing and should be asking friends to join too?

Just call a Tea Party Patriot a Teabagger!

Every time the left  laughingly uses the term, they are ENTRENCHING the strength and determination of the Tea Party Movement.  What they don’t understand is that STRENGTH  comes from being ridiculed by people who are, daily, proving they are dangerous to our country.

Dinosaur Media

  • The Media Mis-defines the Tea Party The more the media tries to define the Tea Party, the more it too becomes a laughing-stock for people “inside” the movement.  It is amazing to people “describe” the internal workings of the Tea Party movement as though it were leadership-driven as a political party.  The more the media “gets it wrong” the less credible they become in anything else they are trying to promote.  I’m surprised advertisers can drop Tiger Woods because of “social reasons,” but continue to support a Chris Matthews on MSNBC … for WHAT reasons?  (At least Mr. Woods can play golf!)  And why is Juan Williams the only person getting it right?

The Right Moves …

  • Moving from Structure to what is RIGHT … Republicans let us down, Democrats are disillusioned by a party they can no longer support because of its radicalism (this is no longer your fathers’ Democrat Party).  Independents, who make up the swing majority are those who neither trust the Republicans or Democrats, or support them with contributions of time and money.  There is a place for these “wandering souls” … and they find a HOME in the Tea Party Movement. Make up your own mind, choose YOUR candidate, choose a candidate that will represent YOU. Moving away from a structured party that tells you who you should vote for is a RIGHT MOVE.
  • Radical Liberal Ideology is proving to be a disaster, financially, Constitutionally, and ethically.  We have a run-away congress and administration that will bend any rule they want to achieve their ideology … NO MATTER WHAT the American People think.  71% of people today DO NOT TRUST this government!  People are turning their backs on this kind of radicalism knowing it is Un-American. The Tea Party movement is an overwhelming change of direction from “moderate left” to HARD RIGHT.

Making the RIGHT move

  • The RIGHT is on the move! There is another way to define “Right”.  Polls and surveys show this country is basically conservative … it is basically “RIGHT” ideologically.  The right side of the voter demographics have always been quiet, somewhat too complacent, and basically not wanting to ripple the political water.  These people are not big on protesting, marching, holding banners and posters, giving speeches, going to weekly meetings about politics. These people are more concerned with maintaining time with their church and their families.   But the RIGHT is no longer stationary … the RIGHT is on the MOVE.
  • Exercising their Rights! People have “had enough” … they “fear” what is happening to our country and they are mobilizing to take it back. The safest, quietest way is the Tea Party Movement.  This because it is not made up of the “radicals”  … it is made up of neighbors and friends. It is made up of people who are “protesting” and “marching” for the first time. They are finding they have a RIGHT to do this and are exercising their Constitutional RIGHTS for perhaps the first time in many of their lives.  People are exercising their RIGHTS.

Being “left” or “liberal” is becoming a stigma … name-calling is not necessary, these people are demonstrating to us who they are every day and are clearly demonstrating why most of us do not want to be associated with them.  So people are beginning to make the RIGHT moves for the RIGHT reasons.

I’d rather be Right …. than Left

So I am a PROUD member of the
