SC – Ballot Advisory Questions

Today I am flying the SC State Sovereignty Patriot Flag.  There are two “Advisory Questions” on the SC primary ballot that all patriots (and concerned Democrats?) should take note of and answer correctly.  The first has to do with Health Care, it is is resolution stating that the SC legislature should defend South Carolina’s sovereignty and enact legislation making it illegal to be forced into the plan against their will.  The second question is a resolution on asking the state legislature to limit spending.

Here are the wordings of the two Advisory Questions and the RESULTS:

Advisory Question #1

RESULT: 86.1% YES

health care reform bill recently signed into law by President Obama requires all American citizens to purchase health insurance or else to pay a fine to the federal government. The legislation also contains tax benefits and other inducements that apply only to certain states, benefits that were apparently designed to persuade those states’ Senators or Representatives to vote for President Obama’s health care reform Bill.

Therefore be it resolved:

The South Carolina General Assembly should defend the freedom of all South Carolinian’s to make their own health care decisions by enacting legislation making it illegal to force the citizens of South Carolina to purchase health insurance or participate in a health care plan against their will, or to comply with any of these provisions or mandates of nationalized health care that do not apply equally to all states.

Do you agree with the above Resolution?

Yes/No

Advisory Question 2

RESULT: 92.4% YES

Growth of state spending should not exceed the growth of the economy.

Therefore, be it resolved:

The South Carolina General Assembly should enact legislation to limit state spending growth in South Carolina a growth rate not to exceed the lesser of the annual percentage growth in income of the State’s citizens, or the growth in population plus inflation.

Do you agree with resolution above?

Yes/No

The Bottom Line

…and here are the results!

Question 1:  86.1% of Democrats and Republicans said YES
Question 2: 92.4% of Republicans and Democrats said YES

You voted, and you were clear in your choice …

…now lets see if the politicians can hear us yet!
