The flag has been ordered to “mourning” state (half mast) because of “senseless acts of violence perpetrated on Saturday in Arizona.”  (The Giffords shooting).  I am flying this flag from now until the designated January 14th for a slain Federal Judge and an innocent 9 year old girl and four other unfortunate souls that died. The media makes this event the “Giffords Shooting” but, although critically wounded, she is, thank God, alive.  The media focus is on a “wounding” of a Democrat Congresswoman, the focus should be focused on SIX KILLINGS, SIX innocent bystanders.

Judge John Roll, 63, had been chief judge for Arizona’s federal district court since 2006 and a federal judge since 1991. The federal judge killed Saturday in an attack on U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona was involved in several controversial decisions, but he wasn’t targeted by the suspect ahead of time. He had stopped by Giffords’ meet-and-greet event at a Tucson Safeway to thank her for sending a letter intended to help declare a judicial emergency in his district because of the high number of immigration cases heard there, according to the Wall Street Journal. He was on his way home from Mass when he stopped by the store.

Christina-Taylor Green, 9, was excited about going to Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ informal town hall event this weekend. She started becoming interested in politics during the last presidential campaign.

She had all kinds of patriotic little pins and what not and then she was on her way to being very political and very interested in government …,” her mother, Roxanna Green, said. Christina-Taylor was a straight-A student. The “9/11 baby” sang on the church choir and was best friends with her older brother.

Its been reported that till now about 19 people injured and six people dead at the Gabrielle Giffords Shooting case.The Pima County SheriffSheriff’s Office has released the names of six people died at the deadly incident

Gabriel Zimmerman who was 30 years old and he was Giffords director of community outreach.

Dorthy Murray, 76 years old

Dorwin Stoddard who was 76 years old and a pastor at Mountain Ave. Church of Christ.

Phyllis Sheck, 79 years old

As a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence perpetrated on Saturday, January 8, 2011, in Tucson, Arizona, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, January 14, 2011. I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff for the same length of time at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations.

Political Finger Pointing: Of course the media is having a field day with a Democrat being injured by a GUNman.   Sarah Palin, the Tea Party and Conservatives are berated in general for “causing” this problem. Nothing is showing on the mainstream news about the shooter being a person who has had many previous problems, states he is a fan of Mein Kampf and The Communist Manifesto (YouTube) and was known as a “leftwing pothead.” (Sounds like all the people I meet at the Tea Party meetings!). Then there was the press conference by the local Sheriff who, in stating that vitriol in Arizona caused this disaster, only added to that vitriol by giving his opinions rather than sticking with the facts.

Let’s track the facts: It is time to turn off the TV with the wall to wall coverage of  “expert” opinions, candle lightings  people crying, presidential moments of silence, etc.  Mourn as you will (I fly the mourning flag) but it is too early to know the motives of the gunman … and the talking heads are not going to answer those questions.    So we’ll wait for the facts, and I’ll post them below:

USA Flag - Day of Remembrance

On December 10th, 2010 something rather amazing happened in the press room at the White House. Our “President”  outsourced his press conference to former President Bill Clinton who continued the press briefing while Obama opted to go to a White House Party. He decided rather than face reality, he’d rather be “elsewhere”.

Never in our history has this happened … when the President finishes speaking, the press conference is over.  So how can a Christmas Party become more important than discussing the critical tax cut situation?  This is simply further proof that Obama would rather other people “govern” and do his work than do it himself.  This is very similar to voting “present” when he was in the Illinois state legislature.

The surreal week in Washington was brought to a fitting climax on Friday when Barack Obama handed the presidency over to Bill Clinton for 20 minutes. “I’m going to take off,” he said.  “You’re in good hands,” the president informed the press corps, patting his predecessor on the back. And take off the president did.

It wasn’t an official, unofficial or illicit transfer of power in any way, of course. But it somehow felt like it.  What happened here has, to my knowledge, never happened. When the president finishes speaking, whenever the president finishes speaking, the event ends. Period.  Not any longer.

President Obama can change the rules of etiquette governing his White House if he wants. The problem for him is that those rules of etiquette exist for a reason. They are intended to enforce the standing of the presidency itself. By breaching them, Obama did harm to his own standing, and at a time when he can ill afford to lose any more of his authority.

What’s more, by doing so, he overshadowed the purpose of his joint appearance with Bill Clinton by letting Bubba hold court. And hold court Clinton did, in a revelatory monologue masquerading as a press availability.

This man would rather be “elsewhere” than be President of the United States.  How many “hours” has he spent in his office studying situations, reading, talking to advisers?  Now how many hours has he spent flying around all over the country and the world showing up at high schools and mosques to promote his message of socialism.  You add it up, you be the judge. He’d rather be Elsewhere.  In fact …

1st Navy Union Jack - Liberty Threatened

If a person was “caught” not guarding the “empty” cookie jar, wouldn’t you  tend to imagine the guard pointing away from himself and shouting,  “No … he’s the problem!” That’s what this government is doing. And the news media, like a bunch of hounds on a false blood trail, race after WikiLeaks and Assange making great headlines and lots of fact-obliterating noise.

However, if you are a student of classic problem-solving, you know NOT to focus on the outcome (which is the result of the problem) but the cause. The CAUSE is what must be corrected. Wikileaks is not the cause of the problem, it is not even the problem .. it is the result of the problem. So as usual, the media is focusing on “what’s cool” and “what sells” rather than on the problem. (Nice move by the cookie jar guard! … and this is what, in this day and age, is what we expect of the sad joke of news coverage.)

There are two problems:

1. “Security” of Documents seems to be an oxymoron for the government
2. Private Bradley Manning is a Traitor to the United States of America.

Take every article you read (or hear about) in the media, and if it mentions Wikileaks or Assange … disregard it. Now what is left to talk about? You’ll find scarce information on the problem, 99% of the information is on the RESULT of the problem. The information is all about the damage of the leaks or about Assange, his character and actions.  You will find literally nothing about the causes of the problem. (Nice move by the cookie jar guard! … and what, in this day and age, is expected by the sad joke of new coverage.)

Of course until you have proof, you cannot “fix” the problem so it never happens again. But we do have proof on one part of the problem … Private Bradley Manning stole the secret documents and sold them for profit. That makes him a traitor. To solve this part of the problem, the man should be quickly tried, and if found guilty, a swift firing squad. One of the reasons for the penalty of death for a US traitor is prevention of the act in the first place.

Summary:

Don’t be led by the barking of the hounds following the false blood trial … look to the root cause of the risk to US Security … it is not a problem of fanfare, it is a problem of life and death for many US citizens. But with a celebrity-hunting press and a “clever” cookie jar guard … alas most seek solutions where they will not be found.

Once again, at the very heart of the issue is a media that refuses to do the difficult job of researching facts and chooses sensationalism over a sense of moral duty.

I’ve listened to the economists, I’ve listened to the “spinners” on TV, I’ve heard the mechanics explained by Democrats and Progressives, yet I really didn’t understand the STIMULUS PACKAGE until a friend sent me what you will read below.

The money goes “round and round” but it doesn’t “stimulate” anything. The proof of Stimulus Failure is the most recent 9.8 Unemployment Figure.  And, at last, here is an explanation of why it fails …

I am going to show you how the liberal economics “stimulus package” just $100 dollars. But keep in mind the government (both Democrats and Republicans) boys did this with trillions.

• It is a slow day in the small town of Pumphandle, IA and streets are deserted. Times are tough, everybody is in debt, and everybody is living on credit. A tourist visiting the area drives through town, stops at the motel, and lays a $100 bill on the desk saying he wants to inspect the rooms upstairs to pick one for the night.
• As soon as he walks upstairs, the motel owner grabs the bill and runs next door to pay his debt to the butcher.
• The butcher takes the $100 and runs down the street to retire his debt to the pig farmer.
• The pig farmer takes the $100 and heads off to pay his bill to his supplier, the Co-op.
• The guy at the Co-op takes the $100 and runs to pay his debt to the local prostitute, who has also been facing hard times and has had to offer her “services” on credit.
• The hooker rushes to the hotel and pays off her room bill with the hotel owner.
• The hotel proprietor then places the $100 back on the counter so the traveler will not suspect anything.
• At that moment the traveler comes down the stairs, states that the rooms are not satisfactory, picks up the $100 bill and leaves.
• No one produced anything. No one earned anything. However, the whole town is now out of debt and now looks to the future with a lot more optimism.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how a “stimulus package” works.

Ft Moultrie Flag - Liberty Risky Discussion

On the evening of November the 8th, 2010, a contrail was recorded by KCBS TV. The official statement from the highest level of our government was:

While there is nothing at this time that leads the Department of Defense to believe this is a missile launch, the department and other US government agencies with expertise in aviation and space continue to look into the condensation trail (CONTRAIL) seen and reported off the coast of southern California on Monday evening.

All DoD entities with rocket and missile programs reported no launches, scheduled or inadvertent, during the time period in the area of the reported contrail.  NORAD and USNORTHCOM confirmed that it did not monitor any foreign military missile launch off the California coast yesterday and has determined that there was no threat to the US homeland.

In addition, the FAA ran radar replays from Monday afternoon of a large area west of Los Angeles. Those replays did not reveal any fast-moving, unidentified targets. The FAA also did not receive reports of any unusual sightings from pilots who were flying in the area Monday afternoon.

If any new information comes to light in the coming days, we will update the press and public.

Now it becomes clear from experts that this was a contrail from a Chinese missile launched from a submerged Chinese submarine that had gone UNDETECTED by our submarine defenses.

“The question that still must be answered is why NORAD’s muted response was simply that North America was not threatened, and later our government approved the lame excuse that the picture recorded was simply an aircraft leaving a contrail,” said retired U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Jim Cash.

“There is absolutely no doubt that what was captured on video off the coast of California was a missile launch, was clearly observed by NORAD, assessed by a four-star general in minutes, and passed to the president immediately,” he said.

Even more ominously, cautioned Cash: “We must question the timing of this shot across our bow. The president was abroad being diplomatic, which means trying to placate China which is becoming overly concerned with our handling a totally out-of-control deficit in spending.”

Had the Chinese wanted to use more than words to show their ability to strip America of its creature comforts, they could not have chosen a more symbolic way than an EMP– electromagnetic pulse–attack on, say, a cruise ship like the Splendor.

As it happens, the Splendor lost its power early Monday, November 8, some 44 miles offshore and roughly 200 miles south of San Diego. No media report that I could find questioned the official “fire in the engine room” explanation. It may even be true.

Later that same day, however, about 300 miles north, the news crew spotted the apparent missile launch. With the presumed missile launch might we have been saying, “You can take out your cruise ships, but we can take out your country?” Or might the Chinese have been saying, “We have you got you squarely in our crosshairs?”

Summary: NORAD detected the missile launch, it was reviewed by a 4 star general and was reported in minutes to the President who was trying to negotiate with China at that moment.  The decision to make the public statement that it was a “jet aircraft contrail” came from the President of the United States.  Why would our government lie to us on such a subject?  And why aren’t the people in California LIVID that, had the missile gone in the other direction and been nuclear tipped … they would all be history at this moment?

I’m not so sure about the EMT attack, it is pure speculation and folks here could come up with even wilder theories. What is more interesting is looking at the root cause of the speculation.And speculation that the Chinese were behind not only this but the “possible EMT” attack on the cruise ship Spendor earlier in the day can only continue to grow in the unhealthy environment of a press that never questions.

The speculation is not the problem, the problem is that the media doesn’t ask the questions they should … leaving any one of “us” nutcases to come up with our own theory. Why the media ignores seeking the truth on events like this is breathtakingly amazing. Pulitzer Prizes are collecting dust on the shelves while reporters spend time analyzing the social ramifications of Grammy Awards rather than researching a foreign missile fired 30 miles off our shore.

What fun it would be to be a young reporter today. All you have to do is find ONE of these many stories, track it to its source, and you are set for life. Book deals, movies, talk shows … fame! What opportunities they miss. Should I suppose this is trained out of them at reporter school (grade school?).
