Who is Barack Obama? We look into a mystery in this post. Is there an on-going problem concerning Eligibility and Credibility … or not?  As you read, focus on eligibility and credibility. Don’t assume you fully understand the subject until you read the entire post. While I ponder the subject, I’ll fly my Sons of Liberty Flag.

As information is discovered on this (example) subject, it will be added here. Information Filed Away - Not Reported!

Prior to the 2008 election, a great deal of information was available on the “lack” of information surrounding Barrack Obama, as you can see above.  As one searches the historical links on the internet, the information was in the blogosphere (and is still there) … but  the same historical links to these subjects by the main stream media are rare indeed.  It should say something to us about that period in our history.  There was a great deal of news that was not reported. How much of the information in the links above was ever seen or heard in the MSM (main stream media)?

Even today, with the newer posts, you are seeing one of three things:

1. acknowledgment that some errors were made in reporting …
2. or…….(crickets chirping) …… continued silence …
3. or they continue reporting their “personal opinion” of the news (not the facts).

For example, Snopes, PolitiFact, Factcheck … all put the news online for you to see on Presidential Eligibility and they put it in writing, they may be right or wrong, but they took the risk of reporting.  In contract,what do you “hear” from the MSM on this subject?  Nothing … the issue for some reason doesn’t exist in the MSM and is even considered taboo on talk radio. Were it not for the internet, it would NOT exist at all.   Seeing something this important ignored, we must ask , “what else” doesn’t exist because it is not reported by the news media? It is now obvious journalists are selectively filtering and biasing the news…even a few of them are admitting it. In some ways, Barack Obama was more truthful portraying himself as a “blank screen” than the news media was by projecting their own image of him upon our screens … rather than giving us the truth (whether they agreed with it or not)!

1st Navy Union Jack - Liberty Threatened

Today I am flying the 1st Navy Union Jack, a Patriot Flag I fly when Liberty and Freedom are threatened.  We all knew Candidate Obama was a product of the “far left” but few realized how that would manifest itself in his selection of the people around him. And he said he should be judged on the people he selects to surround him.

That seems fair, since there wasn’t a lot else to “judge” him on and since he did tell us he was a “Blank Slate” … (see Blank Slate Politics)

From RealClearPolitics: This leave-them-guessing strategy slips out in the book’s prologue. “I serve as a blank screen,” Obama writes, “on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.” He notifies readers that “my treatment of the issues is often partial and incomplete.” It takes some doing for a politician to write a 364-page book, his second volume, and skate past all controversy.

During the 2008 Presidential campaign Barack Obama told audiences:

‘Judge me by the people with whom I surround myself.’

So a year later, we can be the “judge” … its no longer supposition, now we are dealing with facts. On the Free Republic, a poster named “Mindbender26″ (thread here) posted this updated list:

• Ed Montgomery – Auto recovery Czar – Black radical anti business activist. Affirmative Action and Job Preference for blacks. Univ of Maryland Business School Dean teaches US business has caused world poverty. ACORN board member. Communist DuBois Club member.
• Jeffrey Crowley – AIDS Czar – Radical Homosexual.. A Gay Rights activist. Believes in Gay Marriage and especially, a Special Status for homosexuals only, including complete free health care for gays.

Past Indicators: As a candidate, knowing Barack Obama had associated with people like Bill Ayers and sat in a black liberation (separatist) church for years, the signals were there for the news media and eventually the voters to question this candidate’s far left radical associations. But no questioning happened. The candidate made promises of “moderate” … no public option on Health Care, and transparent government. Today’s Proof: He is not what he promised he would be, but the indicators were there that he was a radically “left” candidate. The proof of this is in his selection of the people who surround him.  And we shall judge him based on who those people are, just as he asked us to do.

But if you seek more, read on. Liberty and Freedom hang by a thread … all it takes is a “national emergency” and with the stroke of a pen, Liberty and Freedom can be annulled with the potential Final Executive Order.

What is a Presidential Executive Order?

uTexas: An order from the President, as Chief Executive, to a federal agency or agencies to authorize or prohibit a specified action. An executive order may be a simple, routine exercise of authority, or it may be a far-reaching policy that challenges congressional control of policy.

This Nation: Executive Orders do not require Congressional approval to take effect but they have the same legal weight as laws passed by Congress. [snip] Executive Orders (EOs) are legally binding orders given by the President, acting as the head of the Executive Branch, to Federal Administrative Agencies. Executive Orders are generally used to direct federal agencies and officials in their execution of congressionally established laws or policies. However, in many instances they have been used to guide agencies in directions contrary to congressional intent.

Some frightening Presidential Orders already documented: LibertyforLife:

• Executive Order 10995: (Kennedy- Feb 16, 1962) “Assigning Telecomunications Management Functions” All communications media are to be seized by the Federal Government. Radio, TV, newspapers, CB, Ham, telephones, and the internet will be under federal control. Hence, the First Amendment will be suspended indefinitely.
• Executive Order 10997: (Kennedy- Feb 16. 1062) “Assigning Emergency Preparedness to the Secretary of the Interior“ All electrical power, fuels, and all minerals well be seized by the federal government.
• Executive Order 10998: (Kennedy- Feb 16, 1962 ) “Assigning Emergency Preparedness Functions to the Sec of Agriculture” All food resources, farms and farm equipment will be seized by the government. You will not be allowed to hoard food since this is regulated.
• Executive Order 10999: (Kennedy – Feb 16, 1962) “Assigning Emergency Preparedness Functions to the Sec of Commerce“All modes of transportation will go into government control. Any vehicle can be seized.
• Executive Order 11000: (Kennedy – Feb 16, 1962) “Assigning Emergency Preparedness Functions to the Sec of Labor“  All civilians can be used for work under federal supervision.
• Executive Order 11490: (Nixon – Oct 28, 1969) “Assigning Emergency Preparedness Functions to Federal Departments and Agencies” Establishes presidential control over all US citizens, businesses, and churches in time of “emergency.” (Rescinded by E.O. 12656)
• Executive Order 11921: (Ford – June 11, 1976) “Assigning Emergency Preparedness Function Changes to Federal Departments and Agencies” Provides that the President can declare a state of emergency that is not defined, and Congress cannot review the action for six months.
• Executive Order 12656: (Reagan- Nov 18,1988) “Assignment of Emergency Preparedness Responsibilities“, “A national emergency is any occurrence, including natural disaster, military attack, technological emergency, or other emergency that seriously degrades or seriously threatens the national security of the United States. Policy for national security emergency preparedness shall be established by the President.” This order includes federal takeover of all local law enforcement agencies, wage and price controls, prohibits you from moving assets in or out of the United States, creates a draft, controls all travel in and out of the United States, and much more.
• Executive Order 12919: (Clinton – June 3, 1994) “National Defense Industrial Resources Preparedness“  Directs various Cabinet officials to be constantly ready to take over virtually all aspects of the US economy during a State of National Emergency at the direction of the president.
• Executive Order 13010: (Clinton – July 15, 1996) Critical Infrastructure Protection Directs FEMA to take control over all government agencies in time of emergency. FEMA is under control of executive branch of the government.

Congressional Recourse:

ThisNation: If Congress does not like what the executive branch is doing, it has two main options. First, it may rewrite or amend a previous law, or spell it out in greater detail how the Executive Branch must act. Of course, the President has the right to veto the bill if he disagrees with it, so, in practice, a 2/3 majority if often required to override an Executive Order. Congress is less likely to challenge EOs that deal with foreign policy, national defense, or the implementation and negotiation of treaties, as these are powers granted largely to the President by the Constitution. As the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, the President is also considered the nation’s “Chief Diplomat.” In fact, given national security concerns, some defense or security related EOs (often called National Security Directives or Presidential Decision Directives) are not made public. In addition to congressional recourse, Executive Orders can be challenged in court, usually on the grounds that the Order deviates from “congressional intent” or exceeds the President’s constitutional powers

Constitutional Grey Area? Executive Orders are “iffy” Constitutionally and from reading the above examples, you can see they can be frightening for the causes of Freedom and Liberty … regardless of the party in power.  These are powerful statements that could wipe out Liberty and Freedom with the stroke of a pen.  I am betting most Americans are not aware of the Executive Orders (above) already “in the books” and ready to be activated. I didn’t realize how fragile this system is until I went through the executive orders.  Are you surprised?

Crisis Welcomed?

All that’s needed is a “National Emergency”:  All of us want the United States of America to be safe, no one will quibble with the need to keep it safe.  But with the present “Chicago gang” in power (especially looking at their historical radical “down-with-government, burn-it-down-or-blow-it-up associations) and with the support of a super-majority in congress … one emergency, one stroke of a pen … and goodbye the USA as we have known it. And the radicals of the 60’s will have won.  Such an emergency could be something like a health scare (almost with H1N1) … it could be a terrorist attack, it could be a financial meltdown … nearly anything that would be deemed by these people to be a national disaster could trigger the “Final Executive Order.  Rahm Emanuel has been quoted as saying “It is a shame to let a crisis go to waste.“  These people put control over the country and their own personal control ahead of national security. Watch them closely … every day!

The Free Dictionary: [A National Disaster is] a condition declared by the President or the Congress by virtue of powers previously vested in them that authorize certain emergency actions to be undertaken in the national interest. Action to be taken may include partial, full, or total mobilization of national resources.

Be vigilant! The last two Executive Orders came quietly and with no announcement to the media … and (as usual) no media coverage.  There are two places to watch closely for “silently emerging” (which is the modus operendi for this administration and EOs):

Political commentator Henry Louis Mencken (1880-1956) warned that “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed — and hence clamorous to be led to safety — by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”  A crisis will happen and when it does, this will be the “excuse” for submitting the Final Executive Order.  The pieces are all in place … they only need the trigger of a “national emergency” … real or contrived!

We have given a man who tried on Christmas Day to kill 300 people in an airliner over Detroit … CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS?  This is INSANITY!

Terrorist!

On December 25th, 2009, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, with PETN sewn into his underwear, boarded Delta 253 in Schipol (Amsterdam), flew to the USA and on approach to Detroit, tried with a syringe to “ignite” the chemical for the purpose of bringing down the flight killing the 300 people on board.

Council on Foreign Relations – DEFINITION … an “ENEMY COMBATANT” is an individual who, under the laws and customs of war, may be detained for the duration of an armed conflict. In the current conflict with al Qaida and the Taliban, the term includes a member, agent, or associate of al Qaida or the Taliban. In applying this definition, the United States government has acted consistently with the observation of the Supreme Court of the United States in Ex parte Quirin, 317 U.S. 1, 37-38 (1942): “Citizens who associate themselves with the military arm of the enemy government, and with its aid, guidance and direction enter this country bent on hostile acts are enemy belligerents within the meaning of the Hague Convention and the law of war.”

He is, by definition, a TERRORIST! This man is, by definition, an enemy combatant … in short, a terrorist!  CNN and the rest of the “left wing media” continues to call him a “suspect” and “alleged” even though this man, had admitted being trained in Yemen under the tutelage of al Qaida, said 25 more such people were ready to act, and even though his private parts were severely burned because of his “act”. Ah, but enter the Obama lefties and our “terrorist” is turned into a “suspect” and will try him in civilian court … and now he doesn’t have to talk.

A “terrorist” has rights? But this “terrorist” is  not a “terrorist” according to the Obama Administration, he’s some kind of a “suspect” with USA Constitutional Rights.  (To be fair, Obama said this was the Justice Department’s decision, not his! GIVE ME A BREAK!  Who appointed Holder to the Justice Department?)   This TERRORIST is being given a lawyer, and full rights under the US Constitution. As a result of his “lawyering up” … he has said there are more like him, but now he has stopped divulging information that could stop future attacks.

The security system failed. We now know the security system failed miserably, even though

• Janet Napolitano on national TV said “the system worked“
• John Brennon re-stated this  saying the system was working, it just didn’t work on that particular day
• The terrorist’s father turned him in to the US Embassy warning the USA that there was a problem
• John Brennan was warned earlier by Saudi Arabia about “underwear bombers”

And then they make statements like these? Do these people think we are STUPID?

The Legal System will Fail. And not only does the physical/political security system fail, now the legal system has failed. We are NOT being protected by the people who run this country … and it isn’t Bush’s fault.  As Truman, a Democrat as I recall, once said, “the buck stops here.“  … and right now the “buck” stops with Obama and his sorry lot of  political appointees and other misfits, gender-challenged, communists, Mao enthusiasts,  and tax cheats. (Aren’t there any “normal” people left in the USA to nominate?)

• Smoking Gun #1— Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab’s father contacted American authorities to warn them of his son’s radicalization.
• Smoking Gun #2—Abdulmutallab’s name was on a list of suspected al Qaeda sympathizers accessible to Homeland Security and the NTSA, although not on a no-fly list.
• Smoking Gun #3—Abdulmutallab paid in cash for his ticket.
• Smoking Gun #4—Abdulmutallab had no luggage.
• Smoking Gun #5—Abdulmutallab asked if he could board the aircraft without a passport.
• Smoking Gun #6—DHS knew about undie-bombs because Prince Muhammad bin Nayef, Security Chief of Saudi Arabia, disclosed an attempt on his life using just such a tactic last August.
• Smoking Gun #7—its one thing to have information, it’s another to use that information in a utile manner.  Why is there no cross-referencing of names between the various lists available to security agencies?  Or is it possible that Jamie Gorelick’s dreaded “wall” has been rebuilt under the Obama sinecure?

• 01.08.09 CNN: Airplane Bomb Suspect Pleads Not Guilty (Suspect? Not Guilty?)
  

• LA Times: Reporting from Washington – U.S. border security officials learned of intelligence about the alleged extremist links of the suspect in the Christmas Day airline bombing attempt as he was en route to Detroit and had decided to question him when he landed, officials said in new disclosures today.

• So they “knew” a potential terrorist was on the aircraft …
• Why didn’t they notify the pilots?
• Why did they allow it to fly over densely populated areas?
• Why didn’t they have interceptors flying with it?
  

Obama said: “We made sure that all flights still in the air were secure and could land safely.”

And Obama calls this a “screw up”

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab is a terrorist and has information we need to stop the next terrorist attack. He knows who trained him, where, how. He knows the names of others in the system, he may know dates, etc.  The truth is we don’t know what he knows and now we may never know in time to save American lives  and prevent American deaths.  Why?  Because a bunch of “good feeling lefties” in this country have decided that a terrorist has “rights” under the US Constitution.  (And once again, is this the “change” YOU voted for?)

This situation, as Chrarles Krauthammer said on Fox News tonight is “UNBELIEVEABLE!”

To avoid another Lockerbie (which almost happened on Christmas Day), Abdulmutallab should be experiencing water boarding in Guantanamo.  We should be immediately discovering the information he has … our national security depends upon acquiring this information and quickly!  But instead, the terrorist has been given “rights” and  has “lawyered up” and is not speaking, waiting now on a “plea bargain” (stated by John Brennon).  Now we are going to give a terrorist a “deal” if he tells us information?  This administration has LOST ITS MIND!

Let me be perfectly clear:

If American lives are lost and it can be proven that those lives could have been saved had we treated Abdulmutallab, as a terrorist (water boarding him for information) rather than a suspect  (allowing him to lawyer-up and keep critical national security information to himself) … then those in charge of this decision … Obama, Holder, Clinton, Brennan et al … should be immediately removed from office and tried for premeditated murder of American citizens.  These people, named here, are making a conscious decision not to extract information from this man and this is information that could save American lives.  The  decision they are making  must have similarly serious consequences when they are proven wrong and misguided.

1st Navy Union Jack - Liberty Threatened

Today I’m flying the Navy Union Jack. Now we find out at least ONE of the people who passed the Health Care “Reform” bill was absolutely DRUNK during its passage … Max Baucus.  Hard to believe? We’ve got the video … embedded below:

NewsReelBlog.com by Nancy Morgan: During the general debate on the health care legislation that recently passed the Senate, Senator Max Baucus, Democrat from Montana, took to the floor of the Senate and engaged in a drunken tirade. Oblivious to the fact that he was slurring his words and mangling his sentences, Senator Baucus shouted down opponents as he let loose a rambling, and at times incoherent, tirade against those dastardly Republicans who refused to be bipartisan. This drunk is the Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, charged with overseeing our taxpayer dollars. As is clearly evident from this video, the less than honorable Baucus should not be in charge of a toll booth, much less have a say in the crafting of legislation that will affect every single American.
