On December 10th, 2010 something rather amazing happened in the press room at the White House. Our “President”  outsourced his press conference to former President Bill Clinton who continued the press briefing while Obama opted to go to a White House Party. He decided rather than face reality, he’d rather be “elsewhere”.

Never in our history has this happened … when the President finishes speaking, the press conference is over.  So how can a Christmas Party become more important than discussing the critical tax cut situation?  This is simply further proof that Obama would rather other people “govern” and do his work than do it himself.  This is very similar to voting “present” when he was in the Illinois state legislature.

The surreal week in Washington was brought to a fitting climax on Friday when Barack Obama handed the presidency over to Bill Clinton for 20 minutes. “I’m going to take off,” he said.  “You’re in good hands,” the president informed the press corps, patting his predecessor on the back. And take off the president did.

It wasn’t an official, unofficial or illicit transfer of power in any way, of course. But it somehow felt like it.  What happened here has, to my knowledge, never happened. When the president finishes speaking, whenever the president finishes speaking, the event ends. Period.  Not any longer.

President Obama can change the rules of etiquette governing his White House if he wants. The problem for him is that those rules of etiquette exist for a reason. They are intended to enforce the standing of the presidency itself. By breaching them, Obama did harm to his own standing, and at a time when he can ill afford to lose any more of his authority.

What’s more, by doing so, he overshadowed the purpose of his joint appearance with Bill Clinton by letting Bubba hold court. And hold court Clinton did, in a revelatory monologue masquerading as a press availability.

This man would rather be “elsewhere” than be President of the United States.  How many “hours” has he spent in his office studying situations, reading, talking to advisers?  Now how many hours has he spent flying around all over the country and the world showing up at high schools and mosques to promote his message of socialism.  You add it up, you be the judge. He’d rather be Elsewhere.  In fact …

• Did you find all three? Unless I’m mistaken, it’s Beck speaking, not Palin. Her named is “SaraH” not “Sara” — and she ran for vice president and not president. I think CNN got the Chilean miner thing right though, so credit where credit is due.  (So much for “The Most Trusted Name in News.”)

The geopolitical goal of Islam is “dar es-salaam” … or “house of peace.” The final political state in which Islam controls all is Ummah Wahida or “one community”. Dar es-salaam the political state when Muslims are in the majority of a society and therefore the government protects and governs giving them “peace” or a “haven of peace.” Muslims are directed by the Koran to do “what is necessary” to achieve this state of peace. To achieve dar es-salaam, the Muslims must “take over” any host country, eliminating infidels through conversion or by other “necessary means” using violent jihad or Al-Takeyya to become the spiritual majority. And once conquered, how Shari’a controls …

Dhimmitude: the Islamic system of governing populations conquered by jihad wars, encompassing all of the demographic, ethnic, and religious aspects of the political system. The word “dhimmitude” as a historical concept, was coined by Bat Ye’or in 1983 to describe the legal and social conditions of Jews and Christians subjected to Islamic rule. The word “dhimmitude” comes from dhimmi, an Arabic word meaning “protected”. Dhimmi was the name applied by the Arab-Muslim conquerors to indigenous non-Muslim populations who surrendered by a treaty (dhimma) to Muslim domination. Islamic conquests expanded over vast territories in Africa, Europe and Asia, for over a millennium (638-1683). The Muslim empire incorporated numerous varied peoples which had their own religion, culture, language and civilization. For centuries, these indigenous, pre-Islamic peoples constituted the great majority of the population of the Islamic lands. Although these populations differed, they were ruled by the same type of laws, based on the shari’a.

Ten Steps to Stopping Shari’a: Dutch Member of Parliament Geert Wilders lists ten steps western countries must take to stop the islamization of their countries. All ten steps are mandated by our Declaration of Independence, and consistent with our Constitution:

1. Stop cultural relativism: We must formalize the Idea that we have one dominant culture that is based on Judaism & Christianity [Wilders adds “humanism”].
2. Stop pretending that Islam is a religion.
3. Show the true face of fundamentalist Islam. It is a brutal totalitarian ideology.
