Dispersants and the Piper

June 10th, 2010

There are now two YouTube videos on the internet that have to do with the dispersant being used associated with the potential one world order and depopulation of the world by polluting the sea. Just as aggravating is the news media discussing the “danger” of “adding chemicals to the ocean.” But worse than these are people who believe this Enviro-Babble because they basically are as ignorant (as Obama) about the technology being used.  These are the people who will follow any Pied Piper of Doom without a second thought about the lies spread by the catchy tune. When you see these  conversations show up in your email and on your TV, watch if you will, but watch only if you are fully armed with facts, and that is the purpose of this post. Don’t follow another Pied Piper over another hoax-ridden environmental cliff. Too many people already have a “lemming” attitude trained into them with “Man Made Global Warming” …  I must wonder, will they fall for a similar tune twice?

Want to know “why?  Read on!

Studio B and Shep “I-became-a- star-with-Katrina” Smith. Yesterday, they had a piece on Studio B where Smith was interviewing a S.C.U.B.A. diver (admitting  he was only a diver/journalist and not technically proficient) who dove into an oil slick (picture to left, wonder if he “see’s oil?). Now that takes some real brains. Even the fish avoid that out in the open water.   If you heard the piece, you also heard them discuss the “frightening green haze” that was seen below the surface of the slick. (And if you looked closely at the video, you’ll see fish swimming around in the green haze, what’s with that?). Remember, it was Shepard Smith who brought you Katrina with all his hype. You’ve heard this Pied Piper’s  tune before, folks.

Let’s talk dispersants. I’m not only familiar with dispersants I have personally applied them. Dispersants were developed in case there was an oil spill that we could not quickly control (exactly this scenario), or for a smaller spill to disperse the oil before it hit a wildlife preserve or caused some other ecological damage. If you look at the MSDS sheet (Material Safety Data Sheet) on Corexit (Nalco 9500), you’ll see it is chemically benign … you could practically drink it. Note the “name” is marketing slang for “corrects it.” It is all EPA cleared, and if you know anything about this process, you will know that takes years, hundreds of LD50 (kill-the-guppy) tests, etc. You don’t just “get clearance” because you know somebody. The EPA is naturally suspicious of chemicals So the dispersant is environmentally safe … doubt if if you want, but the DATA PROVES IT and that same data proved it to the skeptical EPA.  Here’s the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for Corexit, Nalco 9500). But most “environmentalists” fear Dihydrogen monoxide too: (Discussions of dangers and MSDS HERE).

How chemical dispersion works ITOPF

Natural dispersion of an oil slick occurs when waves and other turbulence at the sea surface cause all or part of the slick to break up into droplets and enter into the water column. The addition of dispersants is intended to accelerate this natural process.

Dispersants have two main components: a surfactant and a solvent. Surfactants molecules are made up of two parts: an oleophilic part (with an attraction to oil) and a hydrophilic part (with an attraction to water). When dispersants are sprayed onto an oil slick, the solvent will transport and distribute the surfactants through the oil slick to the oil/water interface where they arrange themselves so that the oleophilic part of the molecule is in the oil and the hydrophilic part is in the water. This creates a reduction in the surface tension at the oil/water interface and small oil droplets will break away from the oil slick with the help of wave energy. These droplets will be of varying sizes and although the larger ones may rise back to the surface some will remain in suspension and will drift apart and become degraded by naturally occurring bacteria. If dispersion is successful, a characteristic brown plume will spread slowly down from the water surface a few minutes after treatment. (Dark plumes and green haze anyone?)

The cybernetics of dispersant technology is actually pretty simple.  You mix it as well as you can with the oil, before sticky, thick, slicks are formed. The oil then, instead of becoming a slick, turns into mist-sized droplets in the water. If you watch the BP feeds, you’ll see a dispersant “wand” blowing dispersant into the oil plume … that is the best possible mixing zone, right at the source where there is great turbulence with the escaping gas bubbles aiding in the mixing process.  (Picture on right – Notice the white plume coming out of the small pipe … that’s the dispersant being fed to the point of maximum turbulence).  The second best way to add the dispersant is with aerial drops … this for widely scattered spill zones. Also, good old “wave action” can help by increasing turbulence. (The problem with wind is that it can blow the slicks toward shore, but wave action is good).  When the oil is “misted” into the tiny droplets, the result is the surface area of the potential oil slick is increased LITERALLY by billions. The whole idea of the dispersant is to increase the surface area making it available for oleophilic bacteria.

Enter the Oleophilics. Once you increase the surface area, you have increased the size of the dinner table for the Oleophilic (oil-loving) bacteria that NATURALLY consume oil.  There have been oil leaks in the Gulf of Mexico (and elsewhere in the world) for billions of years. When the earth shifts, rifts open up channels to the trapped reservoirs below.  Do you remember the report of “tar balls” in Florida … then the next day, it was retracted because those tar balls did not come from the Deepwater Horizon?  Tar Balls were on the Gulf beaches before man was! These things have always been on Gulf Beaches … granted not in the quantities being encountered today, but they are always there … the gulf naturally “leaks” oil.  And the reason the gulf is not covered with this oil is the presence of the oleophilic bacteria.  So the disperants literally emulsify the oil into the water. And in so doing, the bacteria grow in numbers because of the bonanza food source for them. The “green haze?” It is bacterial growing under the slick. The fish in the green haze, they are going after the plankton that are eating the bacteria … food chain anyone?

Fact Pages:

Some microorganism of the genera Nocardia and Pseudomonas can grow in the enviroment where the hydrocarbons are the only source of food. These bacteria oxidize straight chain aliphatic hydrocarbon such as octane to their corresponding carboxylic acids:

CH3(CH2)6CH3 +NAD+ O2——– CH3(CH2)6COOH + NADH + H+

Don’t worry about the solution to a problem, just blame anything in sight … But instead of people “discovering” this information on their own (and it is all available with a simple Google search) they would rather listen to the tune of the next Pied Piper of disaster.  I guess fantasy trumps truth.

And every time Obama discusses the oil spill, he gathers ownership of the problem:

Brer Obama and the Oil Spill

And this is what they “discovered” a few months later … (Jan 11, 2011)

Washington Examiner: A study by researchers from Texas A&M and University of California in Santa Barbara have found that all of the methane gas released from the BP spill in the Gulf of Mexico have been consumed by tiny microbes. Methane gas amounts 100,000 times higher than normal at the time of their release have completely disappeared after only 120 days. Some scientists had raised concerns that dissolved methane and other oil residue would continue to plague the Gulf for years or even decades. This is turning out not to be the case.

Bottom Line

Ignorance is the problem. But even the “conservatives” on the right fall for the piper’s tune. So many, even on Free Republic, quickly take up the “Koz” against the big, bad chemical companies that are killing the oceans.  This kind of ignorance is perpetuated all the way up the “food chain” to the Oval office. I’ll give you an example. Look at this “mess” we find ourselves in now. We have an incompetent posing the “leader of the free world” because people were ignorant. We have a person who voters gave the duty to answering the 3 am call … and he wouldn’t have a clue what to do if it rang (and is has rung!).  All you had to do was a little study and digging before the election to discover this guy was incompetent. He had no experience, nobody knew where he came from, and frankly, you’ve never saw a more twisted family tree.  This man cannot even prove he was born!

But the dumb masses voted for him  anyway … following the catchy Pied Piper tune of “hope and change.”  Now look where following this tune has gotten us. Trillions in debt, USA safety “lucky” twice because of incompetent bombers, Socialized Medicine, Government jobs having a huge growth rate, the private sector jobs stumbling into economic disparity with a “reported” 10% unemployment (that we are told now is the “new standard.” Ignorance got us here!

Yet ignorance continues to abound. If you don’t know what you are talking about, then shut up and listen to those who do, get yourself educated!

Imagine what would happen if Nalco (Corexit) and BP simply shut down their operations and left the gulf oil spill up to Hollywood and Obama. Hey, how tough can it be, all you have to do is “plug the damned hole” and “kick some ass” … piece of cake, problem solved!

But when the media and this incompetent bunch of people we have now “leading”  try to  politically cripple the ONLY GAME IN TOWN (chemical dispersants), this becomes a conspiracy and an environmental death wish in itself … don’t be a part of it.  If you cannot add to the solution of this problem, then you are only adding “white noise” that interferes with problem’s eventual solution. Either enlighten yourself or follow the tune of the new Pied Piper over the same environmental cliff of ignorance … your choice.

My recent “comment” on the Free Republic on the thread about Obama saying he spoke with experts “to know who’s ass to kick.”

If you want to PROVE you are a ROOKIE at Crisis Management, this is exactly the way to do it. If you’ve ever been in a big crisis (and I have), you NEVER start pointing fingers and threatening to kick ass. You focus on blaming the PROCESS, NEVER the PEOPLE … people are almost NEVER to blame anyway, the processes fail. By getting everyone focused on fixing the process, you have 100% of your team working on the potential solution. Threatening to kick ass only STOPS the team dynamics dead in their tracks. Also when you speak about going to “kick ass” … you are admitting you don’t understand the underlying process that failed. I knew he was a rookie at this stuff (I always feared the 3am call would come … and it did!).

My advice to BP … pass out ear plugs to cut down on this administration’s  “white noise” so you don’t defocus the team.

These well-meaning ideologues are dangerous to the USA!  All they know how to do is “blame” … they have NO IDEAS to solve this problem.  So my advice to this administration… lead, shut up or just get out of the way! My advice to voters … for your own well-being stop following the “latest” Pied Piper and start doing your homework to UNDERSTAND what is happening around you!  You are going to get one last chance to “Corexit” (Correct it) this coming November … educate yourself before you vote this time!  No more Pied Pipers!

UPDATE: Bacteria Have Consumed Oil Plumes, Scientists Say (ABC – 08.01.10)

Where could the undersea oil have gone? Today, many scientists across the Gulf Coast pointed to the same explanation — deep sea bacteria called psychrophiles that have consumed the oil faster than anyone expected. The bacteria occur naturally in the waters of the Gulf, and when there’s more oil present, they multiply to eat it.

“When a large amount of oil comes into the environment, then they quickly muster, if you will, and they can sometimes grow to 1,000-fold,” said Jay Grimes, a professor of microbiology at the University of Southern Mississippi.

“They’ve been there for millions of years because of the fact that, for millions of years, we’ve had a large amount of natural oil seeping into the floor of the ocean,” Grimes added.

UPDATE FROM ABC NEWS 07.26.10: For 86 days, oil spewed into the Gulf of Mexico from BP’s damaged well, dumping some 200 million gallons of crude into sensitive ecosystems. BP and the federal government have amassed an army to clean the oil up, but there’s one problem — they’re having trouble finding it.

Today, ABC News surveyed a marsh area and found none, and even on a flight out to the rig site Sunday with the Coast Guard, there was no oil to be seen. The numbers don’t lie: two weeks ago, skimmers picked up about 25,000 barrels of oily water. Last Thursday, they gathered just 200 barrels. Still, it doesn’t mean that all the oil that gushed for weeks is gone. Thousands of small oil patches remain below the surface, but experts say an astonishing amount has disappeared, reabsorbed into the environment. “[It's] mother nature doing her job,” said Ed Overton, a professor of environmental studies at Louisiana State University.

UPDATE FROM WASHINGTON POST 07.27.10 - Oil from the BP blowout is degrading rapidly in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and becoming increasingly difficult to find on the water surface, the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said Tuesday. “The light crude oil is biodegrading quickly,” NOAA director Jane Lubchenco said during the response team daily briefing. “We know that a significant amount of the oil has dispersed and been biodegraded by naturally occurring bacteria.”

“The sheer volume of oil that’s out there has to mean there are some pretty significant impacts,” she said. “What we have yet to determine is the full impact the oil will have not just on the shoreline, not just on wildlife, but beneath the surface.” But much of the oil appears to have been broken down into tiny, microscopic particles that are being consumed by bacteria. Little or none of the oil is on seafloor, she said, but is instead floating in the gulf waters.

UPDATE from Fox News 08.24.10 : A newly discovered type of oil-eating microbe is suddenly flourishing in the Gulf of Mexico. Scientists discovered the new microbe while studying the underwater dispersion of millions of gallons of oil spilled into the Gulf following the explosion of BP’s Deepwater Horizon drilling rig. And the microbe works without significantly depleting oxygen in the water, researchers led by Terry Hazen at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, Calif., reported Tuesday in the online journal Sciencexpress. “Our findings, which provide the first data ever on microbial activity from a deepwater dispersed oil plume, suggest” a great potential for bacteria to help dispose of oil plumes in the deep-sea, Hazen said in a statement.

Now they cannot find the Crude … it has disappeared … I’ll be darned!

Told you so! (Don’t doubt me!)

EPA’s National Contingency Plan

June 3rd, 2010

Today I am flying the Fort Moultrie Patriot Flag.  The Environmental Protection Agency has a National Contingency Plan for handling disastrous oil spills like the one being encountered in the Gulf of Mexico today.  There is a complete “manual” for the EPA’s National Contingency Plan and it tells us exactly how they are going to respond in an emergency.  Yes, an emergency just like the one we are encountering in the Gulf today. The only problem with this “plan” is, none of what is in the plan is happening. Once again, millions spent on an agency for contingency planning … and no “process” to execute the plan. Typical of the government in Washington, DC. Here are some of the highlights of the plan, Have you seen any of this happen?

  • WHEN A MAJOR oil spill occurs in the United States, coordinated teams of local, state, and national personnel are called upon to help contain the spill, clean it up, and ensure that damage to human health and the environment is minimized. Without careful planning and clear organization, efforts to deal with large oil spills could be slow, ineffective, and potentially harmful to response personnel and the environment. In the United States, the system for organizing responses to major oil spills is called the National Response System.
  • AFTER THE PLAN is developed, it is important to test it to see if it works as anticipated. Testing usually takes the form of an exercise or drill to practice responding to a spill.
  • Direct planning and preparedness responsibilities of NRT [national Response team] include: (1) Maintaining national preparedness to respond to a major discharge of oil that is beyond regional capabilities.

Here is the original language from the manual: 40cfr300.3 Scope.

(a) The NCP applies to and is in effect for:

(1) Discharges of oil into or on the navigable waters of the United States, on the adjoining shorelines, the waters of the contiguous zone, into waters of the exclusive economic zone, or that may affect natural resources belonging to, appertaining to, or under the exclusive management authority of the United States (See sections 311(c)(1) and 502(7) of the CWA).
(2) Releases into the environment of hazardous substances, and pollutants or contaminants which may present an
imminent and substantial danger to public health or welfare of the United States.

(b) The NCP provides for efficient, coordinated, and effective response to discharges of oil and releases of hazardous substances, pollutants, and contaminants in accordance with the authorities of CERCLA and the CWA. It provides for:

(1) The national response organization that may be activated in response actions. It specifies responsibilities among the federal, state, and local governments and describes resources that are available for response.

(2) The establishment of requirements for federal, regional, and area contingency plans. It also summarizes state and local emergency planning requirements under SARA Title III.

(3) Procedures for undertaking removal actions pursuant to section 311 of the CWA.

(4) Procedures for undertaking response actions pursuant to CERCLA.

(5) Procedures for involving state governments in the initiation, development, selection, and implementation of response actions, pursuant to CERCLA.

(6) Listing of federal trustees for natural resources for purposes of CERCLA and the CWA.

(7) Procedures for the participation of other persons in response actions.

(8) Procedures for compiling and making available an administrative record for response actions.

(9) National procedures for the use of dispersants and other chemicals in removals under the CWA and response actions under CERCLA.

(c) In implementing the NCP, consideration shall be given to international assistance plans and agreements, security regulations and responsibilities based on international agreements, federal statutes, and executive orders. Actions taken pursuant to the provisions of any applicable international joint contingency plans shall be consistent with the NCP, to the greatest extent possible. The Department of State shall be consulted, as appropriate, prior to taking any action which may affect its activities.

(d) Additionally, the NCP applies to and is in effect when the Federal Response Plan and some or all its Emergency Support Functions (ESFs) are activated.

These are direct quotes from the Manual for the National Contingency Plan, created and maintained by the EPA. The statement “says” they are prepared.  Did you see any of this happen?  This is a perfect example of well-intended “words” that obviously have no meaning.  What a waste of our tax dollars to support a fraud such as this!

An “owner’s manual” doesn’t do you much good after the wreck!

Bottom Line

S.T.O.P the EPA

This is THE PERFECT EXAMPLE of Government in-Action. All words, all rhetoric, all “well-meaning” and meant to make the dumb masses feel safe and secure.  Did you see any of this plan executed during the recent catastrophe in the Gulf?  How much money (TAX DOLLARS!)  was spent on the “national preparedness” that didn’t happen.? How many government employees at EPA did it take to write the manual? How many people are now being paid to be “vigilant” and “respond?” What a waste of money!

The next time you hear that “BP wasn’t prepared” … remind those people … neither was the US Government which YOU AND I have PAID FOR to BE PREPARED!  You now know the name of the “proof”:

The EPA’s National Contingency Plan

I am sure there will be a law suit against BPhow about a law suit against the EPA to get our money back for a job they only “talked” about and didn’t “do?” You want an investigation? How about investigating why the EPA was totally unprepared for this catastrophe? Also, why throw more money at these government bureaucrats that sit around and “write plans” that have not methodology for execution?

Now these same people want to solve a CO2 problem that is based on a hoax … all for enriching themselves with more of our tax dollars and sending our great nation into economic hell. Wake up America, you are the brunt of an elaborate joke called the EPA … a tool for the Socialist Regime now in control of the USA.

National Salt Reduction Initiative

May 14th, 2010

Today I am flying the Ft Moultrie Flag, this is a patriot flag I fly when there is “Liberty-Risky” discussion. A perfect example of “good intentions” translating to “government control” is the National Salt Reduction Initiative. One “Progressive Baby Step” at a time, the USA creeps toward Socialism, control of individuals by the government with a subsequent loss of personal freedoms and liberties … under the premise that the government must protect us from ourselves. The latest is the move “voluntary” reduction of salt. But look closely, there is little “personal choice” … the choice is being made for you by manufacturers who are playing into the hands of the progressives. Watch the NSRI grow, fanned by good intentions … and watch your personal choice (liberty and freedom) continue to erode.

The “Good Intention”

Cutting Salt, Improving Health (NYC Dept of Health and Mental Hygiene)

SaltThe New York City Health Department is coordinating a national effort to prevent heart attacks and strokes by reducing the amount of salt in packaged and restaurant foods. Americans consume roughly twice the recommended limit of salt each day – causing widespread high blood pressure and placing millions at risk of heart attack and stroke. This is not a matter of choice. Only 11% of the sodium in our diets comes from our own salt shakers; nearly 80% is added to foods before they are sold. The National Salt Reduction Initiative is a coalition of cities, states and health organizations working to help food manufacturers and restaurants voluntarily reduce the amount of salt in their products. The goal is to reduce Americans’ salt intake by 20% over five years. This will save tens of thousands of lives each year and billions of dollars in health care costs. The IOM recently released two reports recognizing the value of coordinated voluntary action to reduce population salt intake.

The Data to Prove the Premise

The American Heart Association and the National Salt Reduction Initiative, a national collaboration led by the City of New York, share a common goal – to gradually lower the amount of sodium (salt) in the American diet.

“Lowering sodium is essential to reversing the trend of more Americans developing high blood pressure – a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke,” said Nancy Brown, the chief executive officer of the American Heart Association. “Adjusting our taste preferences, food manufacturing and marketing methods isn’t easy – but efforts such as National Salt Reduction Initiative are steps in the right direction. These efforts are to be commended as an important first step toward significant sodium reduction in the food supply,” Brown said.

Excess sodium in the diet is strongly linked to the development of high blood pressure, which is a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke. The vast majority of Americans are consuming sodium at levels that are too high to be considered safe.

The Government gets involved …

The Food and Drug Administration is planning an unprecedented effort to gradually reduce the salt consumed each day by Americans, saying that less sodium in everything from soup to nuts would prevent thousands of deaths from hypertension and heart disease. The initiative, to be launched this year, would eventually lead to the first legal limits on the amount of salt allowed in food products.

The government intends to work with the food industry and health experts to reduce sodium gradually over a period of years to adjust the American palate to a less salty diet, according to FDA sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the initiative had not been formally announced.

Officials have not determined the salt limits. In a complicated undertaking, the FDA would analyze the salt in spaghetti sauces, breads and thousands of other products that make up the $600 billion food and beverage market, sources said. Working with food manufacturers, the government would set limits for salt in these categories, designed to gradually ratchet down sodium consumption. The changes would be calibrated so that consumers barely notice the modification.

The legal limits would be open to public comment, but administration officials do not think they need additional authority from Congress.

The Government expands the idea …

Attorneys for the federal government have argued in a lawsuit pending in federal court in Iowa that individuals have no “fundamental right” to obtain what food they choose.

The brief was filed April 26 in support of a motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund over the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s ban on the interstate sale of raw milk.

“There is no ‘deeply rooted’ historical tradition of unfettered access to foods of all kinds,” states the document signed by U.S. Attorney Stephanie Rose, assistant Martha Fagg and Roger Gural, trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice.

Then it happens … “Choice” is gone.

NYPost For the first time in 40 years, Heinz ketchup is changing its famous recipe — by lowering the salt content in an effort to appeal to more health-conscious consumers, the company said yesterday.

Company officials have taste tested the new blend and believe it will be as popular as their old recipe, which has a 60 percent share of the ketchup market.

The Bottom Line

See the Progressive Baby Steps? … one “good intention at a time, a little expansion, a little more control, then it happens… your choice is gone!

My Salt Disclaimer: I’m Watching My Personal Salt Intake … I certainly watch my salt intake. I don’t “deny” myself salt, but I do avoid those foods that have an overabundance of salt in them.  I read the label, I weigh the risks, and I decide to buy the product then I make a final personal decision to either eat the food or not.  The key component to this logic is the word “I”.  This is about educating myself, making my own choices and making my own decisions.  I fully agree with the studies showing the relationship between salt and cardiovascular disease.  I am not doubting those studies and I am making personal decisions because of that data.  It is MY CHOICE to seek the data, MY CHOICE to believe it or not, MY CHOICE to act upon the data for MY personal well-being.

NANNY STATE ALERT! But those who know the American public is too stupid to protect itself from the evils of salt, will “help” them and regulate their salt intake for them.  Once again, the government decides they know what is best for us and will control it “for us.”

I welcome the data on salt, I welcome the studies and find them interesting and informative. I DO NOT welcome government regulation into the food industry “to protect me” from myself.  If you follow the recent history of such initiatives, the next step will be to “tax” foods with high salt content.  It’s an old tactic, still used today. “They” don’t want you to smoke, they add $5 tax to a $1 pack of cigarettes.  So you can see the “end game” easily.  Watch “sugar” to be next. “They” are already discussing taxes on sugar content.

I reject the fact that “they” want to control me. I can take care of myself, I do not need the government making personal decisions for me.

Ft Moultrie Flag - Liberty Risky Discussion

Thank you, Mr. President

April 17th, 2010

Today I am flying the Fort Moultrie Flag … a patriot flag I fly when liberty and freedom are in jeopardy.  The President of the United States, instead of listening to the American People, and particularly those concerned with increased taxes, …instead of listening to them, mocking them.

Literally millions of people across America turned out for PEACEFUL and ORDERLY  (a fact mostly unreported by the news media) Tea Parties where they demonstrated their displeasure at the Tsunami of taxes coming our way.  One “crasher” showed up at our Tea Party that held a sign saying “Taxes are lower now than they were under George Bush.”  Instead of getting upset with this person, people actually laughed at the sign and wondered what planet this lady was from … how out of touch can you be?  (picture below)

Rush Limbaugh summed it up well with the following clip:

Original Transcript at Rush Limbaugh.com.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a classic illustration of authoritarian mocking control.  He hasn’t cut anybody’s taxes.  The Recovery Act, stimulus bill, it’s more like loaves and fishes.  There are no tax cuts in that.  There were some tax credits.  It’s all bogus.  But he wants to be thanked.  Okay, I will oblige.

  • Mr. President, I want to thank you for seizing General Motors and Chrysler.
  • I want to thank you for appointing a pervert as our safe schools czar.
  • I would like to thank you, Mr. President, for the generational theft that you have committed with all of this borrowing and spending.  You have spent the wealth of two to three, maybe four generations in the future, before they’re even born.
  • I want to thank you, Mr. President, for insulting and endangering Israel.
  • I want to thank you, Mr. President, for driving up the unemployment rate to near double digits for years to come.
  • I want to thank you, Mr. President, for telling everybody that it’s going to be double digits as the new norm.
  • I want to thank you, Mr. President, for exploding the annual deficit to the level where it can never be repaid.
  • I’d like to thank you, Mr. President, for targeting and destroying private health insurance companies.
  • I want to thank you, Mr. President, for pushing for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to stand trial in New York City and receive full constitutional rights at a cost of $200 million per year.
  • I want to thank you for that.  I want to thank you for helping to destroy the housing market, Mr. President.
  • And, Mr. President, I would love to thank you for your arrogance, because arrogance is part and parcel of an authoritarian leader of a regime.
  • I would like to also thank you, Mr. President, for your divisiveness.
  • I would like to thank you for ignoring the public union pension time bombs waiting to explode out there.
  • I would like to thank you, Mr. President, for mocking and disrespecting the American people.
  • And I’d like to thank you for your never-ending support of the New Black Panthers and for ACORN.
  • I’d like to thank you, Mr. President, for embracing our enemies and snubbing our allies.
  • But most of all, Mr. President, thank you for arousing the sleeping silent majority because we have been asleep too long.  November is coming, Mr. President.  That is when we will really thank you.

The Bottom Line

Especially if you are UNemployed!

And from “Me” ... Thank you Mr. President for antagonizing the Tea Party Patriots to a level which is taking them from participant to activist levels.  Nothing could be better for Tea Party Membership than this kind of NON-Presidential behavior … so “Thank you.”  Keep aiding our cause and we will use the numbers to bury your regime in November 2010.

And Some People STILL Believe the Lies What planet are people from who could say, after the failed stimulus, the tsunami of taxes coming at us that we have less taxes now than under George Bush … who gave us tax cuts this regime is allowing to stop in January!  But some people are lost in the love of their Socialist Messiah … here’s our two “Tea Party Crashers” on the right.  (From Planet Obama, I think).

Don’t you DARE mock us! It is amazing a President of the United States can look his people “in the eye” and MOCK their good intentions with an outright lie.  Joe Wilson saw it first, now we are seeing it first hand., (and I’m voting for Joe Wilson because he had the courage to say it!)  Personally, I spent a lot of effort to help others spending equal effort to “pull off” our local Tea Party. 1,800 people showed up … 1,800 CONCERNED CITIZENS from our area … joining literally millions across America on April 15th.  But instead of taking “note” of these concerns, the President lies about “cutting taxes” and makes fun of our concerns.  You cannot get more out of touch than this.  This “regime” (as Rush calls it, and as I shall begin calling it) has to go.  We must do everything in our power to see that the people who are literally wrecking the United States of America are not only stopped, but punished for the damage they have done.

Enough “talk” … DO SOMETHING! We have to stop “talking” and start “doing” things that will stop these people.  The next thing to “do” is get them thrown out of office in November.  We shouldn’t be focusing on who the President will be a couple of years from now, or what “Republican Nominee” is leading a straw poll.  If we don’t STOP them in November, then it won’t matter at the next Presidential election … Cap and Trade will have passed to seal the lid on our financial coffins and Amnesty will be the law of the land assuring millions of votes for Democrats and giving them a government in perpetuation.  We have until November to stop them … then we will apply the next strategy depending upon the outcome.

Join your local Tea Party Group … educate yourself, get the facts. Then focus on that next door neighbor that voted for Obama.  Concentrate getting everyone understanding that if they voted for Obama, they weren’t voting Democrat as they have in the past, they were voting Socialist who dressed up in Democrat rhetoric.  Teach, educate, get the facts. Use them. Change minds. STOP them!

Stop The Obama Plan

CitiBank – The Canary?

February 23rd, 2010

Today I am flying the Fort Moultrie Flag, it is the Patriot Flag I fly when there is discussion that risks Liberty and Freedom. Such discussion is taking place in the form of a notification made by Citibank on its statements to its customers throughout the country:

“Effective April 1, 2010, we reserve the right to require (7) days advance notice before permitting a withdrawal from all checking accounts. While we do not currently exercise this right and have not exercised it in the past, we are required by law to notify you of this change.”

Why would a bank notify their customers that they may withhold money if they believe it necessary? This is a security procedure to stop a “run” on the bank  Here is an excerpt from Page 22 of Citibank’s Client Manual:

Withdrawal Refusals

In some instances, we may refuse a request for a withdrawal or transfer from an account. The following list includes, but is not limited to, the most common reasons we might refuse such requests:

  • If we decide to require seven (7) days advance written notice …
  • From Washington;s Blog:

A top investment adviser, Harry Schultz – who was MarketWatch Peter Brimelow pick for financial newsletter of the Year in 2008 – is now claiming:

    • Some U.S. embassies worldwide are being advised to purchase massive amounts of local currencies; enough to last them a year. Some embassies are being sent enormous amounts of U.S. cash to purchase currencies from those governments, quietly. But not pound sterling. Inside the State Dept., there is a sense of sadness and foreboding that ’something’ is about to happen … within 180 days, but could be 120-150 days.

Investment advisor and former Army Counterintelligence officer Bob Chapman is saying the same thing, reporting on the possibility of a so-called “bank holiday” planned for late August or early September. According to Chapman’s sources, U.S. embassies around the world are selling dollars and stockpiling money from respective countries where they operate

    Four Sources on this subject:

    1. TheFutureOfCapitalism: John Stossel’s blog
    2. Business Insider: This blog “broke” the story on the subject.
    3. PrisonPlanet: Blog post by Paul Joseph Watson
    4. Washington’s Blog: American Embassies encouraged to stockpile local currencies

All four are recommended reading to understand the background and intent of Citibank’s warning to customers.

    The Bottom Line

Does anybody else think something is coming down the tracks?  Is Citibank the “canary in the coal mine” … and has its song changed?  Hmmm, Would I still be paranoid if the train ran over me? My previous thoughts on “rumblings” here:
