The Ribbons

Almost daily, I keep track of events in my blog here at The Patriot’s Flag. Based on the category of the blog, I fly a certain Patriot’s Flag each day (you can see the flag categories HERE and the actual flags I fly proudly HERE).

If Liberty, Freedom, or Security are lost, a BLACK RIBBON is added to the flagstaff.  If Liberty, Freedom or Security are protected, a RED RIBBON is added to the flagstaff.  Each ribbon has its “subject” printed on it along with the date.

• Note: There is ONE yellow ribbon now added to the flagstaff. That special one for the incredible 9-12-2009 March on Washington, DC.

Below you will find the present “ribbon count” for the ribbons on the flagstaff and also a description of each ribbon, why it was there and the date it was added.

August 26, 2010 – Terrorist that killed 17 on the USS Cole not being prosecuted by Obama

• The Obama administration has shelved the planned prosecution of Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, the alleged coordinator of the Oct. 2000 suicide attack on the USS Cole in Yemen, according to a court filing. (See Patriot’s Flag Post)
  

August 23, 2010 – Stem Cell Executive Order Overturned by Judge

• This RED Ribbon replaces the black ribbon that was put on the flag staff on March 9, 2009. A federal judge has overturned Obama’s Executive order of funding stem cell research with tax dollars.

August 7, 2010 – Elena Kagan (Lib/Activist) sworn in to the Supreme Court

• Another liberal was placed onto the Supreme Court by the Democrats and the Obama Administration, with the help of none other than South Carolina’s Lindsey Graham … (who claimed Jesus made him do it). Another black ribbon was added to The Patriot’s Flag’s flagstaff.

July 27, 2010 – Judge Block Arizona Immigration Law

• A Federal Judge has blocked the implementation of Arizona’s immigration law.  The ruling halts implementation of provisions that require police to determine the immigration status of people they stop and suspect of being in the US illegally. An immediate appeal is expected. A Black Ribbon was added to the Patriot’s Flag flagstaff

June 28, 2010 – Supreme Court strike’s down Chicago’s Gun Ban

• On June 28, 2010, the Supreme Court reversed the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit’s decision in NRA v. Chicago and remanded it back to Seventh Circuit to resolve conflicts between certain Chicago gun restrictions and the Second Amendment.

June 10, 2010 CO2 Regulated by Government

• More “government takeover” … the Senate rejected SJ 26 that would have limited the EPA so it could not control CO2. Democrats rejected the resolution. Now the government can control CO2 in every and any aspect of our lives. They can limit manufacturing, cars, cow farts … anything that happens to suit their fancy!

March 23, 2010 – Health Care Reform Bill Signed

• The Obamacare (Amerika-Socialist-Takeover-Bill) was signed into law at 11:15 am today. What Bill Ayers could not achieve by trying to blow up the Pentagon, Barack Obama has achieved with health care.  This binds our children to a debt that cannot be paid … making everyone eventually dependent upon the government, and therefore the government in control of the people. Welcome to Amerika.

Nov 23, 2009 – Climategate: Man-made global warming is a HOAX!

• Red Ribbon added to the flagstaff. The Man Made Global Warming Hoax has been exposed as a HOAX.  See Climategate: Global Warming’s Blue Dress.  Socialism took a hit, liberal agenda is now exposed. Liberty and Freedom advanced.

Nov 21, 2009 – Health Care Senate Bill Moves Forward

• Black Ribbon added to Flagstaff: The Senate in a 60-30 PARTY LINE vote is moving the Health Care bill to the debate stage and not killing it. See Democrats Exposed. Socialism took a step forward, Liberty and Freedom were overcome.

Ft Hood Mourning

• BLACK MEMORIAL RIBBON FLOWN TEMPORARILY in mourning for the Ft Hood Terrorist Attack.  When a flag is on a short staff, it is quite “legal” to add a long black ribbon to the staff to show Mourning.  This is the same as lowering a flag to half mast if it is on a flagpole.  My USA flag is in Mourning Mode with the long black ribbon.

Sept 6, 2009 – Red Ribbon Added to Flagstaff

• Two Reasons:  (1)Van Jones is gone and (2) ACORN was defunded by both the House and the Senate.

August 6, 2009 – Black Ribbon Added to Flagstaff

• Sotomayor Confirmed.  A person has been confirmed to the Supreme Court who, in her own words, believes the court should legislate from the bench. A woman who believes her race gives her a better ability to judge.”

August 3, 2009 – White House asking citizens to turn in citizens

• Freedom of Speech in Jeopardy. The White House website asks for citizens to turn in other citizens: “There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to the end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov .“

June 1, 2009 – General Motors taken over by government

• General Motors is taken over by the government! This is pure SOCIALISM, the government has now taken over the control of General Motors. Under the plan, the government would own 60% of the new GM, but Obama said GM execs would be calling the shots (remember, he fired the previous CEO for not calling the shots the way Obama wanted them called.

May 30, 2009 – Legal Mortgages CANNOT be changed by judges

• Legal Contracts (Mortgages) cannot be changed by judges – S-896
• Thanks to 12 (brave) Democrats, S-896 was defeated stopping a judge from re-deciding the value of a mortgage CONTRACT which would have set a precedent for any “contract” to be decided by the government even though legal signatures are on the contract agreeing to it originally. The Democrats voting NAY were: Caucus (MT), Bennet (CO), Byrd (WV), Carper, (DE), Dorgan (ND), Johnson (SD), Landrieu (LA), Lincoln (AR), Nelson (NE), Pryor (AK), Spector (PA), Testor (MT). Thank you to these people and the Republican votes for upholding LIBERTY.

May 26, 2009 – Funding for moving Gitmo Detainees prohibited

• Liberty and National Security Sustained – 90-6 Passage of HR 2346 amendment
  AMENDMENT PURPOSE: To prohibit funding to transfer, release, or incarcerate detainees detained at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to or within the United States. The vote was overwhelming NOT to fund any transfer or release of terrorists held at Guantanamo Bay. Our national security was made safer by both Republicans and Democrats. Reference: Thomas Register

May 22, 2009 – Right to Carry Guns in National Parks Upheld

• Constitution Upheld – 2nd Amendment As an amendment to the Credit Card bill, the right to carry in National Parks has been upheld. This formerly rescinded by President Obama’s executive order, now signed into law by President Obama on 5/22/09.

May 20, 2009 -  Government controls car models

• By order of the President: The government, having taking over direction of the auto companies, now has the power to decide for us what kind of car we will have a “choice” of buying in the future. The new standards are for a reason: (1) reduce pollution and (2) save energy, reducing foreign dependence on oil. This sets them up for Cap and Trade.

May 6, 2009 – The “real” investors lose their money on GM & Chrysler …$$ given to Unions.

• Hedge fund bondholders (investors like you and me) risked their capital to aid Chrysler with a return promise of being guaranteed that if bankruptcy occurred, they would be “first in line.” This CONTRACT was broken by the administration which means the rule of law was totally disregarded. When a “White House Spokesman” was asked where the $7 billion in Stimulus funds went, the answer was … “it is gone.” This was a payback to the UAW for voting for Obama, their retirement funds remain the same, but bondholders and taxpayers are left holding the bag. May 5, 2009 – 11% Reduction in Social Security

• 11 % Reduction in Social Security – Democrats promised no reduction in Social Security and campaigned that the Republicans would reduce Social Security and the Democrats would protect it. Not True, but 67% of seniors fell for it again.

April 26, 2009 – 2nd Amendment upheld in 9th District

• The 9th District Upholds 2nd Amendment. The 9th District Court upheld the validity of the 2nd Amendment … a surprise for the very “liberal 9th Circus Court” (California area).

March 14, 2009 – Fiscal Responsibility Lie exposed – $3.5 Trillion Budged Approved

• $3.5 Trillion Dollar Budget Approved. Congress has approved the $3.5 TRILLION dollar budget proposed by President Obama.

March 11, 2009 – Omnibus Bill passes with 8000 earmarks.

• Omnibus Bill is Passed by Congress. This bill had 8000 earmarks, both REPUBLICAN and DEMOCRAT!

March 30, 2009 – President Forces GM CEO Resignation

• President forces GM CEO’s Resignation – The government can now decide WHO will be the CEO of a major corporation. This is Fascism at its best.

March 9, 2009 – Fetal Stem Cell Research reinstated

• Stem Cell Executive Order President Obama, by Executive Order, has reinstated stem cell research.

March 6, 2009 – SCHIP Bill Passed … another step toward socialized medicine

• $74 Billion Dollar SCHIP Bill PASSED – During the administration of George W. Bush, two attempts to expand funding for the program failed when Bush vetoed them. In February 2009, President Barack Obama signed legislation expanding the program to an additional 4 million children and pregnant women, including for the first time legal immigrants without a waiting period. On February 4 2009, President Obama signed Children’s Health Insurance Reauthorization Act of 2009.

March 6, 2009 – Stimulus Bill Passed for “shovel read” jobs (proven later a total failure!)

• Trillions for Stimulus Bill!! The Stimulus bill of 2009 was passed. This Bill was for “shovel ready” job creation and to stimulate the economy. Its purpose was to keep unemployment under 8%
• Update: July, 2009 … Unemployment is up to 9.5% and congress doesn’t know where the stimulus money went.
• Update: August 2009 … Unemployment u to 9.6%.

March 7, 2009 – Obama Executive Order-no legal carry in National Parks

• No “Legal Carry (guns)” in National Parks – President Obama signed an Executive Order banning the legal carry of firearms in National Parks.

Jan 23, 2009 – International abortions funded by US Tax Dollars

• Tax Dollars for International Abortions.F.O.C.A. passed giving OUR tax dollars to international organizations for abortion. This was done without MY permission of how to spend this money!

Jan 23, 2009 – An undocumented Person becomes President.
